We currently have 1st shift weekdays, 1st shift weekends, and 2nd shift weekdays open for Electro-Mechanical Assemblers. In this role, team members will be responsible for assembling electro-mechanical components to build the sub-assemblies and completed assemblies. Senior Firmware Engineers are a core component of the development team serving as the technical authority for firmware development and while working to deliver best in class products. Senior Firmware Engineers work closely with Electrical Engineers, System Engineers, Quality Engineers, Program Managers, external partners, and the customers to ensure Wilcox stays on the leading edge of technology and innovation while ensuring the team is delivering a product that our customer can trust his/her life with. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Advanced Firmware Development & Architecture: Leads end-to-end design and implementation of large-scale or highly complex firmware projects (e.g., multi-processor systems, advanced RTOS, or bare-metal architectures). We seek a full-time on-site Staff Mechanical Engineering Manager. This position is responsible for overseeing the mechanical engineering department, as well as guiding the team in the design, development, and optimization of mechanical systems and products. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines to achieve company goals. This role demands a balance of technical expertise, managerial acumen, and strategic vision. This position reports to the Director of Engineering. Roles and Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of senior and junior mechanical engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional growth. Manage performance, provide constructive feedback, and support career development for team members. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training of new engineering staff. Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering discipline. 15+ years of experience in a Mechanical Engineering role or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or leadership role. Strong technical background in Mechanical Engineering. Strong track record of successful management of direct reports and team leadership in a high-tech or engineering-intensive environment. Strong track record of designing and developing manufacturable products. Expertise in mechanical design, thermal analysis, materials science, and manufacturing processes. High proficiency with engineering design tools (e.g., Solidworks) and project management software. Strong understanding of GD&T. High proficiency in conducting modal, thermal, and structural analysis at the system level. Skills in integrating mechanical systems with electrical, optical, and other engineering disciplines. Experience of applying Lean or similar continuous improvement approach. Knowledge of industry standards and regulations relevant to mechanical engineering, such as ASME, ASTM, and API.
