Donna Richer brings business leadership and extensive human resources expertise to AAFCPAs’ senior leadership team. As the firm’s Chief Talent Officer, she leads the firm’s efforts to attract and retain the best and the brightest CPAs and consultants in the industry. They compete for talent every day in a thriving marketplace and Donna’s proven expertise in the business discipline of effectively managing talent provides strategic insight to the firm’s partner team.

Donna’s efforts help us maintain AAFCPAs’ unique and authentic company culture-one that genuinely cares for the individual expects honesty and high moral character and sustains employee enthusiasm with positive energy. She focuses on appealing to go-getters driven to deliver excellence in service, and those who are motivated to contribute to a thriving organization that generously gives back to the community and makes a positive impact through their work. In her multi-faceted role, she provides thought leadership, champions morale, mentoring, training, and professional development coaching, and facilitates solutions to promote teamwork, collaboration, and communication across the firm. Donna develops policies, programs, and reward systems designed to enhance the development and advancement of the firm’s talent. She is a hands-on, results-driven professional committed to the success of AAFCPAs.

Donna has over 25 years of experience, and a background featuring diverse leadership roles, including human resource specialist, compensation and benefits consultant, policy and compliance specialist, and trainer. Her expertise spans a variety of industries, including professional services, financial services, healthcare, non-profit, energy efficiency, and technology.

Garrett is responsible for leading the firm’s best-in-class finance function and executing a sound financial strategy. Garrett is seasoned and well-rounded with hands-on experience in a wide array of cross-functional areas, including strategic financial planning, profit & loss (P&L) management, forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, team leadership and management. He helps ensure AAFCPAs’ strategic business decisions are supported by sound financial data.

Garrett leverages his diverse experience and perspective to ensure his team and the firm have what it takes to achieve excellence. This includes recognizing the skills to develop or hire for, technologies to implement, and notable transformations to anticipate making sure AAFCPAs remains poised for profitable growth.

Kim is a member of AAFCPAs’ Executive Leadership Team, responsible for driving operational excellence through effective strategic planning, change management, resource management, and workflow efficiencies & automation. She plays a key role in positioning AAFCPAs as a firm of the future, poised for continued growth, with a concentrated focus on their three pillars: people, culture, and a profitable growth mindset.

Prior to joining AAFCPAs, Kim gained over 20 years of experience in accounting, finance, and operational management within growth-minded organizations. She has extensive experience in public accounting and as an entrepreneur, having operated a private tax practice. Kim has served in senior executive management positions in both public accounting and private industry, most recently in the roles of COO for a large accounting firm, and CFO for a $150 million commercial construction company. She understands the unique and critical workflows required in public accounting and has extensive expertise ensuring both efficient teamwork and excellence in client service. She helps ensure AAFCPAs’ workflows are scalable for future growth, and consistently iterates to make sure they stay on track and continually improve.

Lucy Van Laarhoven CPA is a Consulting CFO at AAFCPAs and is based in Southborough, Massachusetts. She has worked as Contract Consultant, Accounting Systems at GOLDMAN SACHS GROUP INC; Outsourced CFO/Controller at CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen); and Senior Consultant at Accounting Management Solutions is now CliftonLarsonAllen LLP. Lucy works or has worked as Outsourced CFO/Controller at CliftonLarsonAllen. She studied at College for Financial Planning between 1998 and 2000 and Bentley University between 1980 and 1984.

Peter Sebilian is an Information Technology Solutions Consultant at Self Employed Technology Management Professional, CIO / CISO at ALEXANDER ARONSON FINNING & CO. P.C, and CIO at AAFCPAs and is based in Pepperell, Massachusetts. He has worked as Director Infrastructure Services at Skyworks Solutions Inc.; Director, Information Technology at Maker Communications; and Vice President, Information Technology at UNICOM ENGINEERING INC. Peter attended Northeastern University.

Human Resources Leader and Business Partner with experience in the public accounting, healthcare, financial services, energy efficiency and technology industries. Expertise in employee engagement and retention, recruitment, project management, compensation, learning and development, policy development, benefits and HRIS, HR compliance, diversity and inclusion. Results-driven, hands-on professional who operates effectively with both strategic initiatives and tactical front line management. Leadership experience includes direct staff management, Board Chair Family Promise Metrowest, Vice Chair of Board of Directors for healthcare provider, and Vice Chair of School Committee
