Reports to the Process Engineering Manager: This position's primary focus is to provide process engineering support and optimization assistance for MPLX's facilities including supporting operations in troubleshooting, process modeling, and PHAs. This is a mid-level, 1-2 year min experience engineering position. The expectations of this role will grow with time and is an opportunity for the right individual. We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support engineering development, new program launches, process optimization, and production support throughout the Wallingford facility. Position Summary The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities across Maintenance, Production, and Engineering. This includes developing processes for new and existing programs, supporting NPI efforts, improving throughput, ensuring quality compliance, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. This role works closely with the Plant Manager and Quality Manager to ensure that our manufacturing processes meet customer requirements, safety expectations, ITAR regulations, and internal performance goals. Key Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities Collaborate with internal teams and customers to develop surface enhancement solutions that meet performance requirements and timelines. Create project plans for all new programs, assigning clear milestones and responsible parties.
