Work closely with the Packaging Coordinator and Specification Coordinator for the correct PPM development. Participate in the materials specifications management with the Specification Coordinator (back up for specifications activities). Member of the Specifications Change Review Board (sCRB), proposing changes to global layouts if needed. Have a holistic view of all PPM projects ongoing for the DRY-EM. Lead /support packaging investigations as need it withing the DRY-EM network , Lead/ support packaging projects including but not limited to digital transformation as part of continues improvement. Relationships: Technical roles at CM. JPTs. Regulatory groups. EU-PPD team and US-PPD teams. Global Packaging group. QA groups. Contributes to product failure mode and effects analyses. Manages product or process development projects. Collaborates on technical program objectives and product specifications that meet marketing and manufacturing needs. Recommends and employs new equipment. Minimum Qualifications: Associate's degree and 4+ years of experience in engineering (Manufacturing or Mechanical preferred) or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ year of experience in engineering (Manufacturing or mechanical preferred) Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years prior experience in a manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques Experience with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks Working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC's and their programming The ability to direct, motivate, and provide clear direction in a production work environment. Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical/electrical and controls systems in an operational environment. Proven project management skills including delivery of results on time and within budget through dynamic and creative thinking. Excellent communication and analytical skills and proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
