Provide support on any production/product/quality issues as required.

Pilot Plant (15%):
Operates and ensures pilot plant machines/production equipment are prepared for operation and installed following protocols and procedures and performs regular technical testing to ensure their safety and efficiency and ensures are functioning to specifications.
Executes required lab testing for experiments completed in the pilot plant.

About the role
The Reliability Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of manufacturing equipment. The work setting is a medical device environment, where you will be the sole Quality Engineer onsite in NY. The Senior Quality Manager is based in Buffalo, NY, with other Quality Engineers in Westboro, MA. The position offers 1 week of accrued vacation time, accrued sick time, and 6 paid holidays.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.87 - $48.08/hr.

Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Equipment Integration
Lead manufacturing engineering activities for new product introductions (NPI), equipment integrations, and production ramp-up from concept through validation.
