Position Summary:
The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and improving processes and systems in a production and warehouse environment. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare engineered solution documents and presentations, including engineering drawings, CAD models, project proposals and product literature

We are seeking a Principal Engineer to lead enterprise-wide initiatives that optimize cloud investments across AWS and Azure. This role blends deep engineering expertise, analytics, and financial acumen, enabling Elevance Health to scale cloud adoption efficiently, sustainably, and strategically.
How you will make an impact:
* Provide deep technical leadership in AWS and Azure architectures, services, and cost models, ensuring scalable and cost-efficient solutions
* Recommends new technology solutions and products are delivered to stakeholders and align with enterprise strategic objectives.
* Partner with senior leadership and business stakeholders to shape cloud financial strategy, driving transparency, accountability, and value realization.
* Define, implement, and enforce enterprise-wide standards and policies for cloud financial operations, compliance, and cost control.
* Leading and defining the overall application system technology and architecture, development.
* Build and refine financial models for cloud economics, including forecasting, chargeback/showback frameworks, and profitability analysis.
* Develop, automate, and maintain real-time dashboards, data platforms, and reporting solutions that deliver actionable insights on cloud usage, spend, and optimization opportunities.
* Design and implement scalable automation and data pipelines for cost governance, integrating with enterprise financial and operational systems.
* Is responsible for and champions architectural standards, guidelines, principles, frameworks, and reference models.
Minimum Requirements:
* Requires a BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field of study and a minimum of 11 years experience; multi-dimensional platform experience, expert level experience with business and technical applications; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, & Experiences:
* 10+ years in cloud engineering, FinOps, analytics, or data engineering roles, with deep experience in AWS and Azure.
* Proven track record building financial governance automation and data pipelines at enterprise scale.
* Strong background in cloud economics, financial modeling, and cost optimization.
* Expertise with analytics platforms, data visualization tools, and automated reporting frameworks.
* Demonstrated experience developing and enforcing enterprise governance policies.
* Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence senior executives.
* FinOps Certified Practitioner or advanced FinOps certification.
* Experience in healthcare, insurance, or other highly regulated industries.
* Knowledge of emerging trends in cloud cost optimization, AI-driven forecasting, and financial governance tooling.
