The Process Improvement Specialist is responsible for optimizing production processes within the precast concrete facility. This role focuses on identifying inefficiencies, implementing process enhancements, and supporting quality and safety improvements across manufacturing operations. Working closely with production teams, engineers, and supervisors, the specialist helps streamline workflows, reduce waste, and ensure consistent product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Analysis & Optimization:
Observe and analyze daily production activities (casting, curing, reinforcement, finishing, etc.) to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
Data Collection & Reporting:
Gather and track production data such as cycle times, material usage, downtime, and defect rates to support improvement projects.
Continuous Improvement Projects:
Assist in implementing Lean, 5S, or Six Sigma initiatives to improve plant efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance workplace organization.
Standard Work & Documentation:
Help develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and visual management tools.

Qualifications:
Education:
Associate's degree or technical diploma in Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Equivalent experience in precast concrete production or process improvement will be considered.
Experience:
2+ years in a manufacturing or precast concrete environment.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 6S, or Continuous Improvement principles.
Skills:
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of production equipment.
Ability to collect and interpret process data (cycle times, scrap, yield, etc.).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic data entry tools.

Primary functions:

The Principal Microelectronic Semiconductor Metals Process Engineer will provide senior fabrication support and technical direction for a wide range of metals processes and tools for semiconductor wafers. The selected candidate will own the responsibility for process technology development and production deployment for multiple metal interconnect processes, including PVD and solder bumps fabricated across multiple equipment systems.
They will collaborate closely with other process owners for back-end post-processing to ensure satisfactory integration of under bump metallization and sphere drop processes into overall product flows for both production parts, as well as new process and product development activities.
The chosen candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills; be able to multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic, and high-visibility environment; and work well as part of a team.
The position will demand large amounts of time working in a cleanroom environment. Some lifting and standing will be required.

Team:
Primary metals team leader responsible for all PVD and plasma clean processes, development, and associated metrology. The role will require experience with production deployment across a broad range of tool sets, processes, and wafer sizes.

Purpose and Scope:
The Specialist, Quality Engineer will provide input and oversight to ensure compliant operations are effectively established and maintained through implementation, execution, and assessment of quality systems, procedures, and records to support compliant GMP operations. Job Summary
In this position, the Engineering Technician II independently supports engineering and production activities, including equipment setups, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation updates. This role collaborates with engineers on process trials and improvements while guiding Technician I personnel.
Responsibilities
Independently perform preventive maintenance and line readiness checks on manufacturing equipment.
Independently troubleshoot and diagnose test failures using test equipment and diagnostic tools.
Document results of troubleshooting and provide feedback to engineering for corrective actions.
Assist in NPI builds by refining test processes or identifying gaps in coverage.
Train and guide Technician I personnel in basic troubleshooting practices.
Operate specialized test systems such as thermal chambers, RF, or vibration equipment.
Execute setups/changeovers to standard work; verify first-piece acceptance with minimal rework.
Troubleshoot and correct intermediate-level equipment issues (feeders, sensors, transport, alignment).
Collect and analyze process or equipment data to support engineering evaluations.
Perform equipment calibration and verification per established schedules and procedures.
Conduct ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) checks and verification of controls to ensure compliance with standards.
Collaborate with engineers on trials, ECNs, and minor process adjustments.
Basic equipment programming. Includes - loading, modifying, and validate existing programs.
Perform oven profiling and recipe setup for reflow and/or curing. Includes - running profiles, verify against specifications such as soak time, TAL, peak time, adjust zone setpoints & conveyor speed.
Provide guidance and on-the-job training to Technician I personnel.
Ensure compliance with regulatory compliance standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, ITAR), as well as IPC standards.
Perform other duties or support other areas as needed based on business requirements or production flow.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in electronics manufacturing, including SMT or soldering processes.
Working knowledge of CMMS, ERP, or MES systems.
Familiarity with root cause analysis tools and structured problem-solving.
Introductory exposure to PLC/HMI diagnostics or automation systems.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years of technical experience in manufacturing or equipment support.
Proficiency performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on production equipment.
Ability to read, write, and comprehend English to interpret work instructions, technical drawings, schematics, engineering change instructions, documentation, and safety requirements.

Work performed in an electronics manufacturing environment with exposure to soldering fumes, chemicals, ESD controls, and production noise
Availability for occasional overtime or off-shift support during line-down conditions or critical builds
