    **Job Title: Sanitation Technician** **Job Description** The Sanitation Technician will work independently throughout the plant to ensure a clean and safe environment. This role involves completing a daily rotation checklist of basic cleaning tasks and maintaining high standards of sanitation. **Responsibilities** + Vacuum inside mill structures and packing buildings. + Dust pipes and remove cobwebs. + Clean major and minor spills during production as needed. + Wash flour silos from top to bottom. + Clean and sweep sifter, mill tower, and packing tower. + Check magnets in scale area. + Maintain cleanliness of stairways, balconies, and flour silos. + Sweep and clean spilled corn from outside of corn silos and mill structure. + Wash out gutters, structures, and roofs throughout the plant. + Wash production tower. + Pick up trash, pallets, cans, and cardboard throughout the plant. + Set up equipment for various tasks. + Assist in taping and sealing warehouse, packing area, box cars, and hopper cars. + Assist in fogging and applying fumigants and insecticides. + Apply sanitizers in production areas. + Clean and sanitize interior drains. + Perform detailed cleaning of interior production areas. + Assist in cleaning production equipment during shutdowns. + Handle chemicals and equipment safely. + Practice good GMPs including hygiene and housekeeping. + Perform miscellaneous duties as required. **Essential Skills** + Ability to follow simple written instructions. + Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively. + Reliable transportation to and from work. + Ability to work at elevated heights (up to 80 ft silos). **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Prior industrial cleaning or housekeeping experience. + Prior manufacturing experience. + High School diploma or GED equivalent. **Why Work Here?** Our team culture promotes a supportive and collaborative environment with low turnover.
