**The Production Workers and Machine Operator are responsible for producing the highest quality garage door and garage door components available, ensuring safe work and quality assurance practices. This position involves overseeing the machinery, standing on your feet for 12 hour shifts, loading/unloading doors from different lines.**
**Pay: $18-20/hour starting out**
**Shift Day shift 6AM-6PM (3-4 day work weeks) OR 6PM-6AM (3-4 day work weeks)**
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot equipment to produce high-quality, damage-free products.
+ Perform all quality checks and complete necessary forms, including tags, quality, scrap, and rejections.
+ Utilize various quality measurement tools such as gauges and tape measurements to ensure product specifications and quality standards are met.
+ Set up, operate, and adjust all necessary equipment.
+ Generate, interpret, and execute run sheets and reports, and make necessary changes to widths, gauges, and cutoff dies.
+ Assist in training related to roll forming processes.
+ Assume other duties as assigned by leadership.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or similar environment.
+ Ability to read blueprints and layouts to ensure proper production of materials while preventing damage.
+ Proficiency with various computer applications, scanners, and tablets.
+ Strong safety awareness in all activities performed.

**The work is performed on a production floor, which may not be climate-controlled. The role requires standing throughout the entire shift, with occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling tasks. Team collaboration is essential for safely handling materials exceeding forty-five pounds.**

+ Lead the Plant Engineering and Maintenance functions to ensure equipment, facilities, and systems operate safely and efficiently.

+ Oversee project management, including capital budgets and project execution, ensuring alignment with financial goals.

**What's Needed?**
+ B.S. degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
+ Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with plant leadership experience.
+ Proven project management skills and experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably in CPG or food manufacturing.
+ Strong knowledge of equipment reliability, asset care strategies, and continuous improvement methodologies.
+ Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills with a focus on safety and quality compliance.

+ While working on-site in Salina, KS, perform heavy maintenance and repair on CRJ and ERJ aircraft + Troubleshoot aircraft systems and perform operational and functional checks; service oil, tires, fuel, and hydraulic systems; provide nitrogen and oxygen servicing; inspect and repair pitot static systems and provide battery servicing
