**The Central Region Strategic Account Leader** is responsible for the full lifecycle of client strategy, growth, and performance across a defined portfolio of top strategic customers within the 14-state Central Region. This role owns the regional account strategy, deepens senior-level client relationships, and ensures exceptional service delivery in partnership with local and regional leadership.
This leader is accountable for driving profitable growth, expanding Kelly's footprint across multiple sites and business lines, and ensuring operational excellence through alignment with Market Managers, Market Directors, Area Managers, and the RVP. The role functions as a regional subject-matter expert and is routinely leveraged to support cross-regional pursuits, enterprise solutions, and strategic transformation initiatives.
**Core Responsibilities**
**1. Regional Client Strategy & Executive Relationship Management**
1. Lead client relationship strategy across multiple states, locations, and business units.
2. Build and maintain relationships with senior client stakeholders (Directors, VPs, C-suite) to align workforce strategy with business objectives.
3. Serve as the primary escalation point, ensuring resolution through strong internal and external coordination.
4. Partner closely with Area Managers, Market Directors, and Market Managers to execute locally while maintaining strategic consistency across the region.
**2. Growth Ownership & Financial Accountability**
1. Own full P&L performance for assigned accounts, including revenue, GP%, contribution, pricing strategy, and contract adherence.
2. Lead development and execution of account growth plans, including expansion into new sites, business lines, and Kelly service offerings.
3. Identify, quantify, and pursue opportunities for profitable expansion within the region; influence internal partners to mobilize resources as needed.
4. Serve as SME in Talent Solutions offerings to support new business pursuits and RFP responses.
**3. Operational Excellence & Program Optimization**
1. Ensure consistent delivery quality across all client locations by collaborating with local Market teams and central delivery functions.
2. Establish, maintain, and optimize Statements of Work (SOWs), including scopes, KPIs, change orders, and ongoing performance management.
3. Train and align field leadership on client requirements, performance expectations, and contractual commitments.
4. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
**4. Regional Collaboration & Internal Leadership Influence**
1. Work in lockstep with the RVP, Area Managers, Market Directors, and Market Managers to ensure account strategies align with regional goals.
2. Communicate proactively across leadership layers to ensure visibility of risks, opportunities, and performance trends.
3. Influence cross-functional stakeholders (OCG, Delivery, Sales, Finance, Operations) to meet client demands while maintaining profitability.
4. Support and mentor local teams to build client expertise and improve customer outcomes.
**5. Executive Reporting & Business Reviews**
1. Prepare and lead comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews for internal leadership and client executives.
2. Provide insights into performance trends, risks, opportunities, and strategic recommendations.
3. Deliver data-driven viewpoints with confidence and clarity to senior stakeholders.
