Perform skilled electrical work at the journeyman level. Install, test, repair and maintain electrical circuits, wiring systems, fixtures, appliances, and equipment. Troubleshoot and repair faulty electrical wiring, defective electrical equipment, and machinery such as motors, generators, transformers, swathes, grounds, shorts, and other defects. Use common hand tool and electrical ohm test equipment such as meters, voltmeters, ammeters, growers, multimeters, and other test equipment. May remove, replace, and repair electrical parts. Employee may maintain storage batteries. Perform supervision over helpers and apprentices. Perform other related duties. Qualifications Hold Journeyman License, at least 5 years' experience in the electrical trade with related experience in the power source installations. Individual requires confirmed technique in the selection of equipment and wiring. Candidate requires demonstrated knowledge of state and local codes.
