While reporting to the shift supervisor you will work in production for our tube and core division and be responsible for working in a quick and safe manner. ASSEMBLY TECHNICIANS needed at The Large Power Systems Division located in Lafayette, IN.
In this role you will assemble components and perform adjustments on both diesel and natural gas engines. You could also perform assembly work in sub-assembly areas directly associated with prime product engine assembly. In addition, assembly technicians prepare engines for testing, painting and shipping of prime product.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Assembly of large diesel and natural gas engines

6 months Caterpillar Logistics Assembly experience- OR

Job Responsibilities
• Use specialized equipment to trim and break down sub primals of various cuts of both imported and domestic beef.
• Be able to recognize sub primals that are out of spec and immediately report the deficiency to the lead.
• Knife skills. Know how to use a knife, hook, and steel. The ability to maintain equipment and any sharpening through the week.
• Be able to work in a high paced environment and maintain high yields.
• Complies with all personal safety, food safety, product quality and good manufacturing practices defined by the company.

General Laborers will be expected to be active members of the department including participating in safety programs, attending daily meetings with the leads, taking direction from supervisors & leads, and being flexible to move within the department and plant as required by production demands.
