The Engineering Technician V will be supporting the buildup and modernization of USSC (United States Space Command) facilities around Colorado Springs. The purpose of this task is to provide Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I)/Information Technology (IT) electronic systems equipment, infrastructure, engineering, design, installation, and Supply and Warehouse support to Naval Information Warfare Center Pacific (NIWC Pacific) during design, installation, configuration, and transition to operations of the IT infrastructure for multiple facilities throughout the period of performance. Services required include design, installation, termination, test, and documentation of desktop devices, peripherals, IT cable plant, rack, power distribution units (PDU) and incident to the installation of C4I/IT electronic systems, installation of C4I/IT electronic systems equipment as assigned and in accordance with government installation design plans (IDP), the NIWC Pacific Shore Installation Process Handbook (SIPH) and project sponsor processes and associated logistical support.
