QUALIFICATIONS Express an active Christian commitment, which shall include affiliation with a local, confessionally Reformed congregation that actively supports the mission of Dordt University. Personal endorsement of and commitment to the curricular design set forth in The Task and Educational Framework of Dordt University . A bachelor's degree with professional/technical certification or substantial industry experience in a construction management related field is required; post-baccalaureate education related to construction management or a related field is desirable. Expertise in areas such as construction materials and methods, building mechanical-electrical systems, construction estimating, risk assessment, construction site management, project scheduling and management, construction contracting, construction graphics and building information systems, or other related construction management disciplines. Experience in providing professional development or educating others is desired. A commitment to excellence in college-level teaching, including curriculum design, classroom management, and ongoing student learning assessment is required. Ability to foster and develop industrial partnerships in construction management or construction engineering. Oral and written communication skills and interpersonal abilities that enable effective collaboration with students, faculty and staff, community members, and other professionals.
