Job Overview
The Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering in the College of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Cincinnati invites applications for multiple full-time tenure-track faculty positions in the MechanicalEngineering Program.
Candidates in the following broad areas in thermal-fluids science will be considered: experimental/computational fluid mechanics, heat and mass transfer, energy conversion and storage, and hydrogen technology.
Essential Functions
* Teach graduate and undergraduate engineering courses specific to their specialty areas (as noted above) and participate in course and curriculum development.
* Develop externally funded research programs in their specialty areas (as noted above), publish research results in professional journals, and advise graduate and undergraduate students.
* Participate in professional service activities such as editorial/peer review, serving on departmental, college and university committees, and performing outreach activities such as speaking at recruiting events, hosting lab tours, helping with summer camps, etc.
Minimum Requirements
Prior to the effective date of appointment, a PhD in MechanicalEngineering or related field is required.

The Department of Urology at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences is looking to fill the position of Urological Oncologist with the possibility of being named the Frank Stranahan Endowed Chair of Oncological Research. This highly skilled Urological Oncologist will join our multidisciplinary medical team at the Dana Cancer Center and the University of Toledo Medical Center.
As a Urological Oncologist, you will specialize in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of cancers affecting the urinary tract and male reproductive organs. Your expertise will be essential in providing comprehensive care to patients, from initial consultation and diagnosis through treatment and follow-up. You will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and other advanced modalities. Surgical expertise is a key component of this position, as you will perform complex urologic oncologic surgeries, including minimally invasive and robotic assisted procedures, with a focus on achieving optimal oncologic and functional outcomes. The School of Nursing at CSU is rapidly growing, with approximately 975 students enrolled across our undergraduate and graduate programs. The School educates a diverse student body from various geographic, ethnic and cultural backgrounds and values community engagement.
We seek doctoral prepared nurses with a teaching portfolio that demonstrates a record of accomplishment in the classroom, curriculum design & development and student outcomes. Candidates with teaching expertise in medical-surgical nursing, women & children's health or those who have active certification as an APRN as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, preferred.
Duties include teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels with both face-to-face courses and web-based courses. These positions are on-campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for didactic courses, clinical supervision and teaching skills. Research/Scholarship: He/she is required to participate in research and other scholarly activities related to the area of expertise and interest with expectation of intramural and extramural grant funding

The Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences seeks a full-time General Cardiologist. The position is at the tenure, or non-tenure accruing level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. The successful applicant should have completed three years in an ACGME accredited Cardiovascular Fellowship and should be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine with strong interest and expertise in non-invasive imaging including echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, and nuclear studies.
The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Toledo currently provides clinical services to the community of NW Ohio and SE Michigan for all types of cardiovascular diseases. An important aspect of the mission of the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences is educating medical students, residents, and fellows through advanced training programs in the core disciplines of non-invasive and invasive cardiology. The department offers a wide range of cardiac testing, diagnostic and treatment services at our state-of-the-art cardiovascular facility.
The Division currently consists of eight full-time Faculty members, a part-time Faculty member, and five Advanced-Practice Providers. Our General Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship has a total of nine General Cardiology Fellows and our Interventional Cardiology Fellowship trains one Fellow each year.
Responsibilities:
This clinical position includes duties consisting of weekly outpatient and imaging sessions, up to 8 weeks attending on the inpatient cardiology consult and critical care services, precepting fellow(s) clinic and opportunities for teaching and academic development, which includes presenting and attendance at appropriate conferences, meetings, and service committees. A significant responsibility includes teaching as required, and training fellows, residents, and students.
Weekend and/or holiday service as an attending physician on the inpatient service commensurate with peers.
Conduct independent research in line with the goals of the Department of Medicine. The research focus is flexible and tailored to the interests of the applicant and the desired Faculty Track: Research Track (Clinical Science), Clinical Scholar Track, or Clinical Educator Track
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited institution or a comparable foreign medical degree
Completion of an ACGME accredited Internal Medicine residency program.
Completion of an ACGME accredited Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease
Certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) in Cardiovascular Medicine, and preferably certification by The
National Board of Echocardiography and the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology
Licensure & Certification:
Board certification (or board eligibility) in Cardiovascular Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
Unrestricted medical license (or eligibility for licensure) in the state of practice
DEA registration for prescribing controlled substances
Current BLS and ACLS certification.
