    **Position description**

    Provides operational support to Mayo Clinic multi-media systems and customers, including but not limited to: equipment trouble-shooting; deliveries and setup; basic equipment maintenance; multi-media technology displays; support for on and off campus multi-media events; audio and video systems; audience response system operations, studio and single camera operation that may include patient procedures, floor director support, video conference directing, and basic video network technologies. Provides and manages the planning and coordination for internal and external events in designated areas of responsibility, which may include customer support, videoconferencing, meeting support and production. May provide troubleshooting and help-desk support for Media Support Services customers, master control operations, off-campus multi-media event support, live and post-video production services (e.g. lighting, audio, recording, directing, editing and media duplication for internal and external use; and on-call support for video-on-demand. Participates in the room design and audiovisual equipment purchases by making recommendations. Utilizes and demonstrates proficiency in all types of recording modalities (e.g. tape, hard drive, remote server, and webcast capture stations). Incumbents are expected to stay current in all existing and emerging presentation technologies (hardware, software, equipment, etc.) and will be required to complete job-related mandatory training and education requirements. May provide training and mentorship to other event support team members as directed by MSS leadership. May assist in other job related responsibilities as determined by workload and manager. This position requires adherence to the Mayo confidentiality policy. The incumbent is required to work extended hours including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
