The Role: Tender
Tenders represent the largest group in the plant and have the most impact on day-to-day operations. All equipment used in daily operations is maintained by tenders. Maintain latex levels in dip machines and add ammonia and water to machines.
Drain, dismantle, clean reassemble and refill dip machines. · Filter latex into filling carts.
Change and clean machine filter screens and tank screens. · Load and unload transport trucks.
Strip Custom Dip forms and soften Custom Dip tanks. · Handle brominating operations.
Follow instructions and directions of the supervisor.
Maintain soap, cornstarch and anti-tack solutions. · "Cream" machines.
Coagulate, weigh, and dispose of scrap latex. · Remove trash, sweep and mop floors.
Communicate status of jobs to next shift. · Handle screen changing for air makeup.

Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis. This includes requisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments and produce based on projections from the daily functions sheet
Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily to insure product quality.
Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promote and documents orders for drinks. Mix, garnish and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control.
Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
Input orders into a register at the point of sale and creates a check for each guest, including those served by other beverage servers, to maintain accountability of all beverages served.
Receive cash from guests, make any change needed, verify validity of charges, record charges, and insure vouchers are properly executed, in order to balance all moneys.
Lock up and stores all beverage, food and other equipment items, deposit cash drops and secures bank.
Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Must be 21 years or older.
One year of experience as a bartender is required.
Must be able to work flexible shifts that include evening, weekends, and holidays.
TABC certified, Tips Trained and Food Handlers certification are all highly preferred.
