HOURLY RATE: $16.00 to $ 21.00 Per Hour
ALL FULL TIME POSITIONS: In addition to your pay, your salary also includes Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance. The Biweekly deduction from employee paycheck is $40.00 for Employee Only, $95.00 Employee plus Children, $120.00 Employee plus Spouse, and $140.00 Employee plus family.

FUNCTIONS STATEMENT:
• To administer and coordinate the daily operation of the Grand Casino Hotel & Resort Restaurants, under the direction of the Restaurant Manager.
MAJOR DUTIES:
• Responsible for overseeing restaurant operations.
• Complies with health and safety regulations.
• Responsible for assisting with stocking, ordering, and inventory control of the restaurant's items.
• Prepares daily deposits and revenue reports as directed by manager.
• Maintains and operates cash register in times of high-volume Customer Service.
• Perform other duties and projects as required by the Restaurant Manager.

FACTOR 1: KNOWLEDGE RQUIRED BY THE POSITION

• Knowledge of presentation and garnish requirements.

• Knowledge of traditional and contemporary methods of preparing and presenting local, regional, national, and international styles of food dishes.

FACTOR 2: SUPERVISORY CONTROLS
• The incumbent is under the very general supervision of the restaurant manager.
• Completed assignments are reviewed to determine that objectives have been met and are in compliance with established standard operating procedures.

• These guidelines are generally applicable, but the employee makes adaptations in dealing with problems and unusual situations.

• The complexity level ranges from a medium level to intensive complex situations often created by communication errors of other parties, i.e. waitresses.

Primary Function: Responsible for providing friendly, responsive and excellent customer service to the guests of District 21, Francis Tuttle's in-house restaurant.

Essential Job Functions:
* Provides support to the Chef
* Welcomes and greets guests after they have been seated.
* Informs guests of the specials and other menu items.
* Takes guests orders and delivers food and beverages to guest in timely manner.
* Prepares final bill and follows through with related cashier duties.
* Polishes glassware, plate and silver ware as well as maintains the organization of these items.
* Maintains orderly server stations and completes assigned side work.
* Assists in other areas as needed.
* Participates in professional growth activities such as conferences and in-service meetings.
* Works collaboratively as an effective member of the team.
* Maintains professional competence.
* Ability to be present on the job as described under working conditions and contract details.
* Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
* Minimum of two (2) years recent experience directly related to the responsibilities of a front server in a casual and/or high-end foodservice establishment preferred.
* Experience with Micros is preferred.
* Must have excellent customer service skills.
Working Conditions:
Long periods of standing. Ability to lift 20 pounds (50 pounds with assistance). Low-level machine noise is encountered the majority of every day. Works with sharp knives, hot stoves, and standard restaurant equipment. Reliable, dependable and punctual attendance. This is not an exhaustive list and reasonable accommodations will be made as needed.
Organizational Relationship:
Part-time, personnel position reports directly to Culinary Arts Director who is responsible for supervision.
Contract Details:
Twelve-month contract subject to annual renewal. Working Tuesday - Friday afternoon/evening hours not to exceed 9.5 hours per week. At the end of July/first of August, when evening classes are not in session for D21 Restaurant instruction, other duties may be assigned to include daytime working hours opportunity.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Stock, clean, and prepare beverages under the guidance of the Bartender.
Maintain adequate supplies of bar items and replenish as needed.
