Job Description The Bartender will be responsible for providing efficient friendly customer service at all times and to maintain a clean, professional top quality bar. Responsibilities Strong knowledge of wines preferred Mix drinks for servers according to standard recipes. Familiarity with the wine list and the stemware and appropriate garnishes used. Follow procedures as outlined in employee manual and bartenders manual. Jigger pour, making drinks for servers only when rung in on Micros. Keep bar stocked and clean. Follow sidework sheet. Monitor inventory. Be familiar with and enforce all policies related to liquor liability laws. Be familiar with all property amenities and other restaurants. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Two years bartending experience. Extensive wine knowledge. One-year restaurant experience. Pleasant personality. Excellent communication skills. Barback Job Description The Barback is a key support role in the bar area, responsible for assisting bartenders in maintaining a clean and efficient environment. The ideal candidate will ensure the bar area is well-stocked, organized, and clean, allowing bartenders to focus on providing excellent customer service. The Barback must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and possess a strong sense of urgency. Key Responsibilities: 1. Stocking and Replenishing: o Ensure the bar is fully stocked with all necessary supplies, including glassware, ice, garnishes, mixers, and alcoholic beverages. o Replenish bar items throughout the shift as needed, including restocking liquor, beer, wine, and other beverages. o Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages to the bartender or manager. 2. Cleaning and Maintenance: o Keep the bar area, including countertops, sinks, floors, and storage areas, clean and organized at all times. o Wash and polish glassware and bar tools, ensuring they are sanitized and ready for use. o Remove empty bottles, cans, and trash from the bar area and dispose of them properly. o Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the storage areas and coolers. 3.
