This role will take in-room dining orders or co-ordinate with order taking agent, prepare and execute the delivery of food and beverage items, create a unique dining experience in a private setting by showcasing and explaining the order in the room and set the table when required, remove used trays from hotel floors and guest rooms when required, deliver F&B amenities to guest rooms and keep the Restaurant in Room work area well-stocked, cleaned and organized. Responsibilities * Acknowledge and greet all guests, anticipate guest needs and respond to guest inquiries or requests. * Must have full knowledge of food and beverage offerings. * Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of work areas and equipment. * Keep all supplies fresh and well-stocked. * Prepare RIR trays with appropriate mis en place according to the order. * Co-ordinate with order taking agent and Culinary staff regarding any special requests or dietary restrictions. * Co-ordinate, prepare and deliver all food and beverage amenities to guest rooms. * Engage guests following Omni standards and Power of Engagement training. * Deliver and serve the order following specific departmental standards and steps of service. * Contribute to a professional workplace that maximized employee moral, productivity and effectiveness. Works well with a diverse FOH and BOH staff. * Perform additional responsibilities although not detailed, as requested by a manager. * Ensure responsible service of alcohol by following all legal requirements including carding and consumption. * Follow daily checklists and side work (re-stocking and cleaning). * Comply with direction and instruction from the management team. Qualifications * Able to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for up to eight hours a day. * Ability to bend and reach above head holding up to 10 pounds frequently * Minimum 1year serving experience, high volume & casual environment preferred. * Must have full knowledge of menus, liquor, beer, cocktails and any other pertinent information. * Must have strong communication skills speaking with enthusiasm. * Must be at least 18 years of age. * Must have problem solving abilities, be self motivated and organized. * Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions. * Must have an unexpired food handlers and state alcohol certification. * Must be able to work under minimal or moderate supervision. * Must be flexible with schedules including weekends and holidays. * Obtain State Required Liquor License and training certificate.
