Duties and Responsibilities
Greet the guest within thirty seconds of their arrival into the restaurant.
Offer the guest drinks and fill the order.
Explain our menu along with any chief specials that we may be serving.
Take their order and fill the order, making sure that food arrives at the table within eight minutes from order time.
Round out their meal by offering dessert after their meal along with any after dinner drinks (if server/bartender is working the evening shift).
Present the check. (Breakfast servers present the check when presenting the food).
Making sure that all tickets including vouchers are rung up in the P.O.S. System. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Servers are responsible for setting up the front desk coffee bar and breaking it down as well as maintaining it throughout their shift.
If in-room dining is being offered, server/bartender is responsible for delivery of food ordered to the room within thirty minutes of order time.
Breakfast servers are responsible for setting up tables for dinner and stocking up all cabinets full of glasses.
Dinner servers are responsible for setting tables up for breakfast and stocking up cabinets full of glasses for next day use.
Both breakfast and dinner servers are responsible for rolling their own flatware for next day use.
Clean as you go all guest visible areas, (breakfast cold bar, sneeze guards etc.)
Bus all tables immediately unless it interferes with taking a guest order, in which case, you will take the order then bus the table(s).
All windows, windows seals, doors and etc. should be cleaned daily for fingerprints and dust.
All shelving should be check daily and dusted when needed.
Carpet should be vacuumed daily.
If no steward is available, the server is responsible for sweeping and mopping as well as cleaning all glassware and flatware.
The bartender is responsible for following all the recipes on our drink menu and reporting any broken or spilled alcoholic beverages on the waste sheet. Always keeping in their mind our 21% beverage cost goal.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Display knowledge of the F&B menu
Takes guests food and/or drink orders and turns into kitchen, bar, etc

Qualifications, Experience and Skill Requirements:
1-2 years of food service experience
Minimum education: High School (or equivalent) Diploma
A thorough understanding of fine and casual dining
Must be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law
Possesses excellent customer service skills
Must be dependable
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills

Working Condition:
Physical activity including long periods (6-8 hours) of standing, walking, bending, and, scooping.

JOB SUMMARY
The Restaurant Server will oversee the day to day operation of first class customer service and food service in the restaurant. RESPONSIBILITIES
Report to work on time in a clean and complete proper uniform
Greet all customers with a smile and a verbal greeting: “Good Morning or Welcome to Huddle House.”
Review the menu with customers when needed, suggestively sell products, and take orders from each customer at the table
Using proper, approved abbreviations and submit tickets to the cook's station
Deliver food in a timely manner to the customer when food is ready
Handle money from customers, account for all tickets, credit cards receipts, and make sure that all tickets have been rung up and closed before shift is over
Complete the position checklist while stocking and preparing the unit for the next shift
Perform all prepping and cleaning duties as detailed or assigned by supervisor, including but not limited to: bussing tables, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms and walls
Bring all items of concern to the attention of the manager immediately, especially safety concerns and customer service complaints
Know the menu, the daily features when applicable, which juices, add-ons and desserts to suggestively sell products
Know and follow the Huddle House steps of service with each and every guest to maximize shift sales

Summary: Under general supervision, this position opens and closes the hotel Kitchen+Bar following Company policies and procedures.
