    Behavioral Health Associates (BHA) is an educational organization. We offer an academic learning environment integrated with behavior support services for students diagnosed with emotional/behavioral disorders to empower the students in overcoming challenges and creating new stories in their lives. We currently have an opening for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). JOB GOAL Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides a range of applied behavior analytic (ABA) assessment and clinical services for children, adolescents and adults with autism spectrum disorders and related developmental disabilities. The BCBA consults, provides training to caregivers, conducts behavioral evaluations of clients and designs behavior and individual support plans for clients. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Comply with most current Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Ethics Code. Administers, conducts, evaluates, and supervises the implementation of behavioral assessment measures (e.g., VBMAPP, Essential for Living) and functional behavior assessments. Develops individualized goals and objectives for home-, community-, and center-based programs and designs behavior support plans based on functional assessment data. Trains Registered Behavior Technicians and ABA Therapists on the proper implementation of educational and clinical programming. Provides high-quality supervision for Licensed Behavior Specialists pursuing credentialing as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Conducts weekly/biweekly supervision meetings with Licensed Behavior Specialists, Registered Behavior Technicians, ABA Therapists, and Teachers. Meets weekly with Clinical Director and notifies immediately of issues impacting clients progress and client/caretaker satisfaction. Completes all necessary documentation in a timely and satisfactory manner as requested by the Clinical Director. Maximum student caseload of 10. Maintains billable caseload and documents billable hours according to state and federal regulations. Develops written reports documenting behavioral recommendations for parents, caregivers and agency personnel in a timely and accurate manner. Respond appropriately to feedback and maintain or improve performance accordingly. Strong knowledge and deep understanding of applied behavior analysis and research based therapeutic interventions. Must be proficient with intensive teaching, natural environment training, ABA Program Development, ABA Behavior Reduction and Skills Acquisition Procedures. Able to mold a group of Therapists into an efficient and cohesive team. QUALIFICATIONS Masters degree from an accredited institution in Education, Special Education, Behavior analysis or a related field. Valid Behavior Specialist License. 3 years work experience with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental disabilities, preferred. In good standing as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with staff and leadership team, while maintaining professional boundaries. Positively represent and promote BHA services to outside organizations. Maintain confidentiality in all matters, including the dissemination of information regarding program development, staffing, and billing. Work both independently and as a team. Communicate effectively utilizing both written and oral communication. Basic computer literacy with Microsoft/Office 365 (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, etc.). Effectively utilize technology for communication and reporting needs.
