The BCBA Supervisor is required to adhere to the Behavior Analyst Certification Board Guidelines for Responsible Conduct for Behavior Analysts. Requirements/Responsibilities: Applies behavioral principles consistently in all client interactions. Supports all members of the staff and assists with ideas, suggestions and work duties. Conducts center based and in-home supervision bi-weekly or monthly. Conduct and actively participate in staff training programs designed to increase overall skills. Develops program plans and other instructional activities as well as running programs weekly to insure mastery and gather inter-rater reliability data. Maintains a minimum billable caseload of 120 hours per month. Writes progress reports, and other requested written assignments related to the clients progress. Manage oversight caseload including reviewing and ensuring progress reports are submitted to insurance providers on time correctly to ensure no gaps in client authorizations. Communicates in a professional and respectful manner with parents, behavior analyst/consultants, therapists, clients and families. Hold parents accountable to parent handbook, utilization policies, parent training, and client scheduling policies. Fluent in the understanding of the Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP) and the Vineland 3. Assists in creating instructional materials, running programs, taking data and assessing clients in the development of new programs relating to the clients functional and education needs. Observes records, and reports the condition and behavior of the clients, including maintaining daily records. Functions as an active member of the treatment team meetings and supervision. Works with clients, consultants, staff, families, and community to implement client's treatment plans. This position works under the support and direction of the Regional VP, Operations and onsite Program Directors to enhance the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral outcomes of students through use of evidence-based interventions and in collaboration with the operations and educational staff from each campus within assigned area. ‖ Responsibilities Include: * Delivering comprehensive training and continuous guidance to teachers and educational staff in designing impactful Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). * Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness and quality of academic instruction and behavioral support services provided to students, ensuring exceptional outcomes. * Supporting Spectrum staff by modeling, reinforcing, and enhancing instructional best practices to promote student growth aligned with Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals. * Implementing evidence-based interventions by applying scientifically proven behavioral and educational strategies, promoting positive outcomes in academic, social, emotional, and independent functioning. * Providing crisis management intervention and support for students exhibiting aggressive or self-injurious behavior and developing strategies to reduce the need for 1:1 staffing. * Collaborating closely with on-site education teams to collect and analyze data on student behavior, monitor student progress, and ensure appropriate intervention responsiveness and consistent progress toward goals. * Conducting regular quality checks for each campus within assigned region at the student, staff, classroom, and site levels; making recommendations for improvement based on analysis of data. * Supporting the development of on-site teams within assigned the area through delivery of training on behavioral assessment, intervention, positive behavior supports, data collection, crisis management, and other relevant topics. * Providing guidance and supervision to staff members within assigned region pursuing BACB certification (RBT, BCaBA, BCBA), as agreed with the Program Director or VP of Behavior Services. * Assisting in the development and implementation of improvement plans for assigned campuses to enhance student performance and staff effectiveness. * Engaging in multi-disciplinary on-site and regional team meetings to discuss behavioral needs and contribute to the development of comprehensive support strategies. * Monitoring and ensuring adherence of all campuses to Department of Education regulations and internal standards for educational and behavioral service is maintained within assigned area. * Maintaining accurate and detailed records of assessments, interventions, progress, and compliance activities. * Providing operational support to all schools in the assigned area, focusing on academic achievement, behavioral support, staff retention, and development. * Performing additional duties or special projects as assigned to support organizational goals and student success. ‖ Qualifications Required: * Master's degree or higher in applied behavior analysis, behavioral therapy, special education or a closely related field of study. * Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA) credential. * Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining an education specialist or special education instruction credential preferred. * Hold currently or have the ability to obtain a valid CA state driver's license. * Ability to obtain and maintain certification in company approved crisis management training. * Well-versed in applied behavior analysis (ABA) including positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS), data-based decision making, and functional behavior analysis (FBA) and behavior intervention plans (BIP). * Prior experience and/or knowledge in special education services and compliance, effective teaching strategies, classroom management, personalized instruction and working with students. * Highly skilled in working with individuals with severe learning, emotional behavioral disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and/or other related disabilities. * Prior experience and highly skilled in crisis management systems and intervention procedures. * Prior experience and highly knowledgeable in working with students with individualized education plans (IEP's). * Proven success in developing and implementing effective intervention plans for students with diverse needs. * Proficiency in providing motivation and having critical conversations with students that help move them toward realistic goals. * Ability to think and act quickly and calmly in an emergency and make independent decisions. * Advanced oral and written communication, organization, conflict resolution, multitasking, problem solving, and decision-making ability. * Knowledge of relevant technology including experience with computers, Microsoft Office Suite, database entry and basic office equipment. Position Overview The Behavior Technician plays a pivotal role within our organization by providing 1:1 intervention to an assigned client. Operating under the supervision of a Clinical Supervisor and a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Behavior Technicians utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions to teach essential skills and reduce challenging behaviors. This role necessitates meticulous data collection and session notes to monitor and assess client progress. Location We are currently recruiting for positions at our Clovis and Fresno, CA locations. Overall Objective Create an enriched learning environment by providing evidence-based interventions within the scope of Applied Behavior Analysis while strictly adhering to the Board Analyst Certification Board (BACB) Code of Ethics. Key Responsibilities Attend to the basic needs of clients (e.g., food, water, toileting) during therapy sessions. Maintain a daily needs form throughout each session, including offering snacks and water, facilitating changes, and providing access to the bathroom, while meticulously tracking opportunities and prompts. Deliver daily session summaries to parents/guardians using the daily needs form. Review the daily schedule for updates and client changes. Log into scheduled sessions in our practice management software and review the Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) and client updates. Prepare the client's workspace with the required stimuli. Execute client intervention plan goals by comprehensively understanding each target and diligently following delivery instructions. Actively engage with clients by delivering frequent Naturalistic Environment Training (NET) opportunities in a playful and interactive manner. Maintain close proximity (3-5 feet) to the client to ensure continuous engagement and prioritize client safety. Seek support, clarification, and modeling from supervisors and fellow Behavior Technicians whenever needed. Collect data on client responses to prompts for all treatment plan items. Document behavioral data as required. Summarize the session as it unfolds and complete final session notes to meet billing standards. Communicate client progress to clinical team members during team meetings or daily data collection and daily notes. Ensure timely transition of the client to the next BT session or parent/guardian. Accurate and timely data collection, session notes, and report writing are vital aspects of the role, with strict adherence to all privacy and confidentiality laws, including HIPAA regulations and client confidentiality. Commitment to providing culturally sensitive and competent care. Compliance with all ethical guidelines and standards set forth by the BACB. Accommodate specific requirements, such as autism-specific interventions, depending on the client's unique needs or preferences. Requirements High School Diploma or Equivalent. Successful completion of a TB Test and Live Scan DOJ Background check. Availability for at least 15 hours per week. Completion of Registered Behavior Therapist(RBT) Certification (Must enroll in a course and complete it within the first 90 days; we cover the cost of enrolling in the 40-hour online course and reimburse for the exam). Trained in crisis management procedures (Safety Care Certification; including de-escalation techniques and safety protocols when handling challenging behaviors. We cover the cost of the course and provide all training in clinic) Trained in First Aid/Basic Life Support and CPR with active Certification (Must enroll in course once RBT Certification is attained; we cover the cost of the course and exam) Preferred: Minimum of one year of college experience in psychology, child development, or education. Preferred: Enrollment in a two or four-year college program. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues, clinical supervisors, and client families. Basic & Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Proficiency in lifting and carrying clients using adaptive equipment. Capability to maintain various postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods.
