SUMMARY The Board Certified Behavior Analyst develops behavioral plans and provides behavioral therapy, and other therapeutic services to program participants. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential function listed below: •Works with supervisors in the development, implementation, maintenance, and generalization of behavioral change oMaintains the use of least restrictive treatment guidelines in the implementation of Behavioral Techniques oDirects program participant contact in effecting behavioral change, primarily in the area of activities of daily living, behavior management and social skills •Provides Behavioral Therapy and Active Treatment programming in the residence job site, and within the community on an individual or group basis oSubmits weekly logs indicating objectives, strategies, and results obtained oConsults with staff, insurance providers, lawyers, service providers post-discharge, and family on treatment recommendations and progress oParticipates in family education and therapy as needed •Participates in treatment planning with the trans-disciplinary team and attends pre-admission meetings as requested. As a key member of the team, you will ensure the day-to-day care of our residents is provided in a sensitive, professional, and effective manner, as well as collaborate with the dining and community program to ensure best quality of care for all residents.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
* Provide one-on-one support and companionship
* Assist with taking care of the resident's pet(s)

VICTIM ADVOCATE
Behavior analyst job in Palm Beach, FL
Provides crisis intervention, supportive counseling, and advocacy for victims of cases involving sexual assault, domestic violence, or other violent crimes. Provides support during court proceedings, acting as a liaison with the State Attorney's Office, law enforcement, and social service agencies. Coordinates public awareness initiatives and conducts training on victimization and related victims' rights matters. Work is performed under the general supervision of a team supervisor and is reviewed through regular meetings, reports, and effectiveness of work results obtained.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Criminal Justice, Social Work, Public Service, or related field; minimum of one (1) year of experience assisting people from diverse ethnic/socioeconomic backgrounds in the areas of criminal victimization, crisis intervention, supportive counseling, and case management, including coordinating services/training OR six (6) month internship at a victim services agency.
Equivalencies:
* 1 Related Master's Degree AND six (6) months of related experience
* 2 Unrelated Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years of related experience OR one (1) year internship at a victim services agency
* 3 Related Associate's Degree and three (3) years of related experience
* 4 Unrelated Associate's Degree and four (4) years of related experience
* 5 Graduation from high school or an equivalent recognized certification and five (5) years of related experience.
Necessary Special Requirements: Must complete Office of Attorney General (OAG) Victim Practitioner Certification and Florida Council Against Sexual Violence (FCASV) Rape Crisis Certification within 11 months of hire and maintain Certifications as a condition of employment.
PREFERENCE FOR: Two (2) years of experience in advocacy work for sexual assault/domestic violence/homicide crime victims; experience with 24-hour crisis response; bi/trilingual (English/Spanish/Creole).
