Golden View Learning Center focuses on providing effective and ethical treatment in order to help children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and developmental levels reach their full potential. We provide programming based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and utilize evidence-based interventions to provide the highest quality therapy for children we serve and highest level of support for their families.

We are currently hiring BCBA's at our Oak Park Location: 2755 55th, San Diego, CA 92105
Fulfill at least 28 billable hours per week (includes direct sessions).
Schedule planned billable hours for the following week by the Friday prior to the week.
Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA).
Conduct structured preference assessments as needed.
Develop behavior intervention plans based on the results of FBA.
Conduct ongoing skills assessments (e.g., VB-Mapp).
Implement and monitor data collection systems to track and evaluate client progress on treatment plan objectives.
Update treatment plans on an ongoing basis as indicated by data collected.
Complete all initial intake assessment reports within the time frames outlined by assessment authorizations.
Complete client six-month progress reports within appropriate submission windows as indicated by the funder (e.g., one month prior to end of authorization for Molina, up to 60 days prior to end of authorization for Tricare).
Provide 1:1 ABA therapy as needed; subbing & covering lunches as needed by the scheduling department.
Provide caregiver education and training to implement treatment plan strategies and report on caregiver goal progress to the funding source.
Supervise and provide ongoing training and skill acquisition intervention for Behavior Interventionists implementing ABA treatment plans.
Supervise individuals working to obtain or maintain their RBT credential, providing ongoing training and completing RBT Competency Assessments as needed.
Provide a minimum of 5% supervision of any Registered Behavior Technician supervisee each calendar month, and complete ongoing documentation in preparation for BACB audit.
Ensure RBT supervisees are added to your BACB account profile.
Supervise individuals working toward their BCBA credential, following one year as a Board Certified BehaviorAnalyst.
Participate in training new hires/structuring new hire shadow sessions (e.g., complete training checklists).
Provide at least:
15-30 minutes of supervision for single-day subs; one hour for a week-long sub
2-4 hours for new permanent pairings, across the first three days of sessions.
Complete at least two BI feedback forms for each BI in their first six months of employment; and at least one every six months thereafter.
Conduct initial intake assessments as assigned.
Participate in Behavior Technician 6 month reviews when necessary.
Attend and contribute to scheduled Clinical Meetings & All Staff Meetings
Maintain BCBA credential each two year cycle, meeting all requirements as specified by the BACB.
Implement and support center/client schedules (e.g., meal times, SSG, water play)
Ensure that your clients are in a safe and positive environment at all times.
Contribute to a positive work environment by being a proactive and ethical role model.
Requirements:
Must be certified by the BACB as a Board-Certified BehaviorAnalyst.
Must possess a master's degree or post-graduate certification in applied behavior analysis.
Must maintain CPR or BLS certification.

Responsibilities
What we are looking for:
People with a passion for working with children
Previous experience working with children or people with disabilities and an interest in behavioral health
Available to work in the afternoons/early evenings, and possible weekend morning hours
Must have own reliable transportation, and valid driver's license, auto registration and auto insurance
Proof of immunization records and TB.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Must be available for initial 2 week training schedule (M-F, about 35 hours)
The position requires lifting, carrying, and loading/unloading toys and materials for home visits. Also frequent walking, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and twisting in order to observe, assess, and interact with participants
Work hours:
Our main working hours are Monday thru Friday 8am-8PM & Saturday 9AM-1PM. Candidates must be available to work at least 15 hours per week within this timeframe.
Areas of coverage (cases will be assigned based on where you live): San Diego, El Cajon, La Mesa, Mira Mesa, and surrounding areas.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of 6 months of exposure to/experience with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) or other related developmental disabilities. Some examples include working with typically developing children in a group setting (children with demonstrated deficits or challenging behavior preferred), having a family member with ASD, a neighbor with a developmental disability, or even volunteer work in a classroom with a child with ASD, etc.
EDUCATION:
Degree not required, but must have at least completed some college coursework or be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university. We have a preference to programs related to early childhood education, psychology, nursing or related field.
