A Day in the Life of the BCBA
In this role, you'll lead and support individualized ABA programs for children ages 2-20 in a collaborative, trauma-informed environment. You'll work closely with families and clinical staff to design ethical, functional treatment plans that promote autonomy, wellness, and meaningful life skills. Your work directly supports our client's mission to help children live the lives they want to live, within their families and communities.
Responsibilities include:
• Design, oversee, and evaluate individualized ABA treatment programs
• Conduct behavioral assessments and develop data-driven treatment plans
• Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to clinical staff and new BCBAs
• Serve as the clinical leader for your assigned center-based team
• Collaborate with families using open, transparent, and compassionate communication
• Ensure treatment aligns with trauma-informed, child-focused clinical standards
• Meet or exceed performance metrics developed with leadership
• Promote a positive, collaborative, and growth-oriented team culture
• Utilize evidence-based practices and integrate new research-supported strategies
Requirements and Qualifications:
• Active BCBA certification or about to be certified
• Meets BACB supervision requirements
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 8 students with a mix of younger and older children
• Comfortable providing a minimum of 15 hours per week up to 40 hours per week, per family, and achieving 25 billable hours per week
• Ability to work primarily in the clinic in the Colorado Springs area
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Position Summary
As a BehaviorTechnician (BT), you will work directly with children using evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and positive reinforcement. Youll help build communication, social, play, daily living, and pre-academic skills in home, school, and community settings playing a direct role in each childs success.

The purpose of the BHT is to assist in providing a safe environment for individuals while they are in the program. The Behavioral Health Tech assists in the admission process, answers client questions and assists client in adjusting to the program routine. The Behavioral Health Tech is the liaison between the client and the staff to report any changes in the clients physical or mental condition. Assists with the admission process on new client admissions and orientation procedures and schedules.
Records Inventory log of all personal belongings, valuables and return ticket. Ticket and valuables to be kept in the safe.
Facilitate all orientation groups with clients.
Fills out required lab requisitions per protocol.
Know where clients are at all times.
De-escalates AMA and other client problems.
Participate in all staff meetings as scheduled.
Provides liaison with staff and other tech to ensure that all clients needs are be met.
Provides supervision of meals, including supervision of servers and clean up crew after each meal.
Ensure that garbage is disposed of properly after each meal.
Monitors group room to ensure cleanliness after each activity.
Hands off information necessary for the evening Tech and staff at the end of the day shift. Maintains logbook for the continuity of care. Participates in shift turnover and ensures that the next shift has Tech on duty.
Participate in required staff training (minimum 20 hours).
Participates in all staff meets as scheduled.
Supervise clients completing the Program with emphasis on client safety and well being.
Remind clients of program rules and regulations as necessary and report infractions appropriately.
Provide emotional support for clients while referring them to therapy staff to deal with clinical issues.
Complete all assigned paperwork in a neat, accurate and timely manner.
Complete incident reports according to policy in a timely, accurate manner.
Communicate with other staff as necessary to promote quality client care.
Participate in maintaining clean, properly supplied and efficient work areas.
Complete UA Screen Collection per protocol
Observe and report safety, maintenance problems.
Interact appropriately with clients, showing them respect while maintaining boundaries.
Maintain professional demeanor at all times.
