WHAT YOU'LL DO: * Learn to operate and assess MALDI mass spectrometry and/or cf TNA-based assays using human specimens. * Explore cancer biology (hematological and solid tumors) and understand assay development for clinical diagnostics. * Assist with lab workflows and ancillary duties. * Analyze and synthesize experimental data, troubleshoot results, and maintain a detailed lab notebook. * Present your findings to the Lab & Executive Leadership Teams at the end of the program. A Typical Day: * Plan and execute experiments under the guidance of our Research Associates & Staff Scientists. * Keep the lab clean and functional. * Participate in team meetings and share your project updates. WHAT YOU'LL BRING: * Education: Undergraduate students in MCDB, Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related fields. * Coursework: Biology, genetics, or similar. * Skills: Familiarity with Excel and Word, strong desire to learn. * Bonus: Previous lab experience and comfort with math are helpful but not required.
