With over twenty four years of experience, Mr. Tu has in-depth knowledge leading high-tech manufacturing organizations inthe US, China, Taiwan and Malaysia. Previously, for nine years, Mr. Tu served as General Manager, Asia plants; and VP of North America Operations & Corporate Technical Processes for JDSU in San Jose, CA. Mr. Tu spent twelve years serving as VP of Manufacturing at Komag Inc., San Jose, CA. Mr. Tu is experienced at building organizations and developing, implementing, and managing all operational aspects of high technology companies. Mr. Tu currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at Boston-Power, Inc. and has been instrumental in expanding the operations within Asia. Mr. Tu is responsible for directing all operational activities for both the Beijing Technology Center and the LiYang factory. Mr. Tu earned his MSME from University of Missouri Rolla and a BSME from Taiwan University. Mr. Tu joined Boston-Power in 2009.
