Maintenance Description:
In cooperation with the retail manager, identify, prioritize, and make repairs and maintenance on the following:
Pumps, piping, and tanks
Application and nurse equipment, forklifts, pickups, and all rolling stock.
Building
Containment dikes and load/unload pads, mixer
Any other capital asset on the property
Ensure all equipment and rolling stock has been repaired and maintained before the Fall/Spring seasons.
In cooperation with the retail manager, decide whether specific repairs should be performed by plant personnel or an outside vendor.
Organize and maintain a record-keeping system to record and schedule maintenance activities on all plant equipment, rolling stock, and fixed assets.
Maintain, organize, and stock parts and tools in the shop.
Individuals should be able to weld.
Safety, Environmental, Property Appearance:
When working at the facility or operating company vehicles on the road, personal safety and the safety of fellow employees must always be the highest priority. Twin State/Liqui-Grow policies must be followed at all times.
To prevent contamination of the facility, always handle fertilizers, Crop Protection Products, fuel, micronutrients, stormwater, and rinsate water in an environmentally responsible manner. In the event of a spill, either at the facility or during transport, always follow Twin State/Liqui-Grow company policy and DATCP state regulations regarding reporting, containing cleanup, and disposal of affected soil and property.
Maintain the facility and rolling stock to reflect a positive and professional image for Twin State/Liqui-Grow.
Keep the facility, grounds, and buildings clean, picked up and orderly.
Understand Twin State's safety manual thoroughly and comply with company and OSHA standards for maintaining a safe workplace, including ensuring that safety equipment is available and in working order.
Teamwork:
Work cooperatively with all full-time and part-time employees to foster a spirit of teamwork, mutual respect, good customer service, and a professional image for yourself and Twin State/Liqui-Grow.

Applicator Expectations:
The applicator is responsible for the marketing of the agricultural products manufactured and/or distributed by Twin State, Inc., within a defined territory, as well as the on-farm application of these products. The applicator person is an integral part of the individual retail location team and reports to the retail manager.
Participate in all training activities to learn about the products and their benefits to the farmer.
Application of purchased fertilizer and pesticides in a timely and accurate manner.
Ensure that the application equipment has the necessary safety equipment and is constantly utilized.
Keep the location manager and team fully informed of all operations.
As time allows, help maintain the retail facility.
