Responsibilities Work in a hospital Cath Lab setting Three 12-hour day shifts per week, with shift times of 7:00am-8:00pm or 9:00am-10:00pm Possible float to Cath Lab Holding Requires ability to circulate in complex cases and multiple specialties Must be skilled in either scrubbing or monitoring procedures Epic EMR is used for charting Main responsibilities include providing nursing care during a variety of Cath Lab procedures and assisting with both neuro and vascular cases as needed First-time travelers are accepted for this position Previous staff of the RWJBH health system must have a one-year break in service before applying as a traveler Local candidates are accepted at the same rate No block scheduling is permitted for this assignment Work attire is hospital scrubs as required by the department Requirements Active NJ or compact RN license required at time of consideration Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience Experience with cardiac caths, PCI, EP ablations, leg angio, permcaths, lysis, neuro-cerebral angio, Impella, Roto, Shockwave, IABP, CSI, LS Pro, Carto/Ensite X, and Watchman implants required Vascular experience with IVCF highly preferred Neuro scrub experience is helpful Must be able to function in circulating, scrubbing, and/or monitoring roles as needed Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID #P-655261.
