This role requires a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to safety. This role must have experience driving a FLATBED TRUCK and have experience with a FORKLIFT. Main Responsibilities include: Safely operates a semi, dump or single axle truck and is responsible for local delivery of materials. Navigate driveways, alleyways, lots, high traffic roadways and may operate in tight overhead environments while on routes. Notifies Manager or Dispatch of service interruptions, including closed lots, street, alleyways or potential safety hazards. Communicates customer requests to Manager or Dispatch. Completes and submits customer tickets and logs as required. Follows route assignments as directed and completes end of day documentation and the check-out process. Performs all duties as scheduled by Manager or Dispatch and assisting other drivers as directed to meet customer needs. Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary Other duties may be assigned. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The Ability to: Routinely lift 80 to 100 pounds and to handle 2 to 3 diameter by 22 lengths of product delivery hoses. Routinely climb up and down to load racks and tankers for loading and venting/unloading purposes. Routinely traverse ship ladders, catwalks and close quarters. Work inside confined spaces, as needed. Must pass and maintain a current Interstate DOT Class A driver medical card. Must be able to pass DOT Drug and Alcohol pre-employment test and any random required DOT drug test after employment. Must be able to sit and drive a standard or automatic transmission for the duration of your assigned shift and in compliance with DOT driving guidelines.
