Experience: * Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Class A licensed commercial motor vehicle driver required. * Experience safely operating and maneuvering CMVs in diverse conditions required. * Experience positively interacting with individuals from varied backgrounds preferred. * Experience providing instruction, coaching, or on-the-job training preferred. * Experience applying state and federal CMV regulations, safety standards, and inspection procedures preferred. * Experience working independently while coordinating with a multifunctional team preferred. License or Certificate: * Valid Nebraska State Class A CDL license held for a minimum of two consecutive years required. * Must meet State of Nebraska and WNCC driving record standards; DMV record check required. * Must be at least 21 years old. * Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, crouching, and stooping required. * Must be able to lift, move, and handle equipment or instructional materials up to 50 pounds. * Regularly operates commercial vehicles in outdoor environments, including exposure to extreme heat, cold, wind, and precipitation. * Work involves sustained use of hands and feet to operate vehicle controls and equipment. * Requires visual and auditory acuity to safely observe road conditions, monitor gauges, and assess student performance. * Work may involve evenings, weekends, or variable schedules based on program needs. * Significant time is spent interacting with students, colleagues, and members of the public.
