    Job Title: Lab TechnicianJob Description We are seeking a dedicated Lab Technician to conduct chemical and physical analyses in support of the development of manufacturable multisource pharmaceutical products. The role involves providing analytical support for the release of registration materials in support of regulatory submissions, assisting in analytical method validation, and transfer activities. Essential Skills * Proficiency in sample preparation, chemistry, biochemistry, wet chemistry, titration, and dilutions. * Experience in physical and chemical testing of organic materials. * Ability to work in a team environment and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting. * Good written and verbal communication skills. * Capability to work under supervision using scientific judgment and professional competency. Additional Skills & Qualifications * BS in Chemistry or related field; entry-level graduates with lab experience from school are welcome. * Lab experience outside of academia is strongly preferred. * Experience with data acquisition software is desirable. Work Environment The team consists of Scientist I's, II's, and III's working collaboratively to accomplish tasks. The position is based in a state-of-the-art lab within a very clean GMP environment.     The contract technician position actively participates onteams that deliver technical solutions that significantly impact theresidential roofing business. This role contributes to the businesss successby conducting product tests on projects designed to improve the quality andproductivity of our roofing operations. RESPONSIBILITIES Demonstrates a commitment to safety Works safely in the laboratory and manufacturingenvironments Identifies and corrects hazards Ensures rigorous compliance to standard safety proceduresand OC corporate policies Practices good housekeeping habits Conducts routine shingle testing Preps samples for testing Performs tests Inputs test results into LIMs data system Documents observations Cleans and maintains equipment Experience operating a forklift Ability to operate safely in high traffic areas Good communication and organizational skills for stagingmaterial for lab process Metrics Actively contributes to Near Miss tracking system anddocuments hazard eliminations Full participation in site safety initiatives Performs non-routine task hazard assessments Safely and consistently completes operational tasks inthe Roofing Test Lab. Test deliverables meet Quality Requirements and Standards Experience and Knowledge Requirements Associates degree required Bachelors degree is preferred Hands-on aptitude with mechanical equipment Must be comfortable using a computer. A working knowledgeof MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) required. Experience in a manufacturing and/or laboratoryenvironment. Attention to details is very important. Minimum Qualifications: Associate's degree in technical field. Experience in a laboratory environment. Experience with common productivity software such as MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Hands-on aptitude and ability to support rapid prototyping. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-based research environment. Preferred Experience: Bachelor's degree in chemistry, material science, or other technical fields. Ability to design, build, and troubleshoot measurement systems based on Arduino and/or Raspberry Pi platforms, including sensor integration and data acquisition. Experience in an R&D or manufacturing environment.
