At CESO, it is the role of a Inspection Services Lead to plan, execute, and deliver projects in accordance with client expectations. This includes but is not limited to managing the efforts of internal team members as well as third party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. Additionally, the Inspection Services Lead will define a project's objectives, oversee quality control, and maintain responsibility for timelines and budgets.
Primary Responsibilities
Define and establish project scope, schedule and budget for projects as well as maintain quality control over a project's lifecycle
Outline project objectives and timelines for completion and effectively communicate them to involved parties throughout project
Serve as a primary point of contact with assigned clients through frequent communication methods and lead client meetings
Lead the preparation of civil engineering project proposals
Manage a staff of engineers, inspectors, and technicians and assign workloads
Communicate project status and performance to executive leadership
Monitor project progress to ensure adherence with contractual agreements
Assure project documentation and reporting are accurately maintained
Oversee coordination with clients as well as outside agencies and consultants for procurement of sub-consultant needs and jurisdictional reviews
Elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other internal departments
Provide resolution to client and project issues
Responsible for invoicing of clients and tracking accounts receivable on a monthly basis
Act as a team resource on complex engineering issues
Develop and grow business relationships with existing client contacts and pursue work opportunities
Motivate team members through the creation of a positive work environment by providing mentoring, coaching, and training to assist in professional development
Other project and supervisory duties as assigned
Position Requirements
5+ years of experience in construction inspection, construction management, or similar role.
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred
Professional Engineer Licensure (PE) is preferred
ODOT / Industry certifications (ie. Prequalified/Certified Professional, Highway Testing, Flexible Pavement Condition Rating, etc. are a plus).
Understanding and experience with basic computer skills are required. AutoCAD, Civil 3D, AutoTurn, etc. are a bonus.

The Senior Construction Manager will serve as a full-time on-site resource as the “eyes and ears” for the client (Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati). Your Key Responsibilities

Pay Range:
* Locations in MN, OH, VT, & Various CA, NY Areas-$107,100.00 - $160,700.00 Annually

Your Key Responsibilities, but not limited to
Operating construction tools and/or small equipment
Assisting equipment operators, carpenters, craft workers, and other skilled labor when necessary
Prepping construction sites by removing obstacles and hazards.
Loading and unloading construction materials
Removing, fill, or compact earth
Follow instructions and learn from on-the-job training when necessary.
Performing site clean-up
Following blueprints and building plans to meet clients' needs
Measuring, cutting, and/or shaping wood, plastic, and other materials
Instructing and directing laborers and other construction helpers
Making Concrete forms, forming slabs, walls, and structural slabs
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Must have ability to travel overnight; Operators may be required to spend up to 1-4 nights per week out of town working at remote locations for assignments
Typical field work environments require the ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time on uneven terrain, lift and move items and equipment up to 50 pounds, and climb a ladder.
Basic Survey Knowledge- Trimble and laser level knowledge, preferred not mandatory
Adhering to corporate policies, operate through the proper management channels, and act in the best interest of firm
Good driving record and valid driver's license are required.
Operating a Global Positioning System, preferred not mandatory
Standard First Aid, CPR, and/or Red Card
Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather conditions
Positive, safety-first attitude
Education and Experience
High School Diploma, GED or Associates
1 to 4 years of construction experience. Pay is based on experience

At CESO, a Program Director is responsible for the execution of a client program or multiple small client programs simultaneously. A Program Director is responsible for the growth of client accounts. They will develop and execute strategies to grow client accounts by fulfilling other client needs and bringing in other services not yet performed for the client. They will coordinate client activities, monitor & forecast overall program performance, and ensure the delivery of client projects. Assist team members by providing technical direction.
Directs and oversees the execution of complex, multi-disciplinary programs comprised of multiple, interrelated architecture and engineering projects.
Serves as the primary point of contact for clients at the program level, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and sustained relationships.
Leads program planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met.
Coordinates cross-functional project teams and resources in collaboration with project managers, discipline leads, and operations staff.

Oversees program financials, including budgeting, forecasting, tracking project costs, and ensuring program profitability.

Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering or related field, with a minimum of 15 years of experience directly managing projects in a design and construction related field is preferred;
Or 20 years related experience and/or training is required.
Experience leading a team and working with multiple projects.
Professional Licensure (RA, PE, PS, RLA) is preferred.
PMP certification is preferred.
Computer skills necessary to enter daily timesheet data and use Microsoft Outlook for email correspondence.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Suite products, Deltek, and Newforma.
Ability to travel.

Your Opportunity
Join a collaborative team focused on ecology and wetland sciences. Work includes wetland delineation, ecological assessments, and regulatory compliance for diverse projects (oil and gas, renewable energy, transmission, transportation, private development).
Your Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate must have educational background and/or experience in natural resources, particularly in the Midwest region. Some familiarity with Federal and State wetland and stream regulations is a plus. Responsibilities will include:
Wetland and water resource delineation and characterization.
Botanical surveys, habitat mapping, endangered species assessments.
Prepare wetland delineation and technical reports for clients/regulators.
Support environmental permitting and compliance for federal/state requirements.
Participate in multi-disciplinary environmental assessments.
Data management and analysis.
Possible wildlife surveys and ecological restoration tasks.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
The ideal candidate will be a team player and have exceptional oral and written communication skills; and good organizational and note-taking skills. Candidates should also be able to demonstrate most of the following abilities:
Familiarity with computers, technical report writing, and sub-meter GPS units and field mapping software (Field Maps and Survey123, etc.)
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Communicate effectively and function as part of a team to successfully meet shifting needs.
Ability to manage risks and safety appropriately, manage information, and provide exceptional service to internal and external customers.
Ability to work well under pressure, and to prioritize and balance sometimes heavy workloads to achieve goals while keeping up with a highly mobile and changing environment.

Education and Experience
Minimum Bachelor of Science Degree; 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
Demonstrated experience with plant, soil, and wetland identification and characterization in the region.
Preference will be given to those who have experience delineating wetlands according to US Army Corps of Engineers Manual and the corresponding Regional Supplements as well as completing state specific stream and wetland assessments.
Willingness to travel (up to 75%) and the ability to work in the field for long hours in adverse weather conditions.
