**As a Sales Tax Senior, you will:**
+ Review clients' accounts payable records and capital expenditures for sales and use tax overpayments, work to reduce client's tax audits, and assist with strategic tax planning.
+ Code and enter findings and results into Excel spreadsheets.
+ Prepare Report of Findings and training materials for clients.
+ Prepare required documentation (spreadsheets, forms, copies, etc.) to validate tax refunds.
+ Communicate and meet with various tax authorities and vendors to obtain tax refunds on behalf of clients.
+ Prepare status reports for clients.
+ Research tax laws for exemptions and tax savings for clients.
**What you bring to the role:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, preferably in Accounting or Finance.

The role of the Billing Specialist is to work together with the Firm Shareholders to prepare and submit invoices for processing and payment, resolve issues related to analysis of billing and communicate with clients, bill managers and shareholders to coordinate revised invoices. * Process billing in an accurate and timely manner
* Prepare, edit and finalize draft invoices
* Process final work-in-process write-offs in accordance with the firm policies & procedures
* Process time/cost transfers as required to ensure accurate divisional billing
* Follow-up on invoices in process to ensure timely approval for finalization
* Respond promptly to client billing inquiries and collaborate with the appropriate project owner when additional information is required to resolve the request.
* Monitor unbilled work-in-process and assist with follow-up as necessary
* Maintain detailed documentation of all previously sent invoices, organized by project
* Regularly review and stay current with engagement letter fee schedules to ensure accurate billing practices.

**As a GPS Manager, you will:**
Grow the practice through expansion of services to existing clients and obtaining new clients. You will also lead teams in the performance of consulting engagements to effectively manage risks across an organization. Your responsibilities will include:
+ Overall planning and supervision of engagements including conducting discussions with clients; developing and reviewing deliverables; directing team members; briefing clients and Cherry Bekaert partners; and providing technical assistance on complex issues
+ Ensuring that services to clients are of the highest quality and consistently applied across clients
+ Managing profitability of engagements, including (but not limited to) staffing levels, utilization, billing rates, realization, WIP, accounts receivable, and controllable expenses, to achieve excellent financial results, including meeting or exceeding budget
+ Recruiting, developing and retaining staff
+ Maintaining advanced understanding of grant lifecycle management.
+ Monitoring regulatory changes and advise clients on adapting policies and procedures to maintain compliance.

**What you bring to this role:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant business discipline
+ Minimum 6+ years of experience within a public accounting firm or public sector environment performing grants management services for state and local governments.
+ CGMS, CIA or CICA certification or in process desired
+ In-depth knowledge of the Uniform Guidance, grant internal controls, grant professional standards and regulations and related systems
+ Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage multiple clients.
+ Capable of working in a demanding, deadline driven environment with a focus on details and accuracy
+ Solid organizational skills especially ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details
+ Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive and resourceful Paralegal to support our corporate legal operations. This role will be instrumental in supporting Elliott Davis' Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel by: managing insurance claims and subpoenas; analyzing vendor contracts; overseeing and maintaining corporate documents; performing legal and other types of research; and providing legal support for corporate acquisitions and integrations. Responsibilities
Supporting Elliott Davis' Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel by performing the following:
Insurance Claims Management
Coordinate and track insurance claims across various lines of coverage.
Liaise with internal stakeholders, insurers, and outside counsel.
Maintain documentation and ensure timely reporting and resolution.
Subpoenas
Review and respond to subpoenas and other legal requests.
Liaise with internal stakeholders and outside counsel.
Coordinate with internal departments to gather responsive documents.
Ensure compliance with legal deadlines and confidentiality requirements.
Contract Review & Vendor Agreements
Review and summarize vendor contracts for legal and business risks.
Assist in contract negotiations and revisions under attorney supervision.
Corporate Document Management
Organize and maintain corporate records, including entity filings, board minutes, and resolutions.
Support compliance with corporate governance requirements.
Assist with annual reports and other regulatory filings.
Legal Support for M&A and Integrations
Assist with due diligence, document collection, and data room management.
Support integration activities post-acquisition, including contract novations and entity updates.
Coordinate with internal teams and external counsel on transactional matters.
Legal and non-legal electronic research
Requirements
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a corporate legal or law firm setting with focus on corporate law
