Job Description We are seeking a part time assistant teacher to help us temporarily while a teacher is on maternity leave from February-May. We are hoping to hire ASAP to get some training in. We are a nature based child care center seeking candidates who enjoy being outdoors and active. Candidates must be flexible; be able to multi-task; and take guidance from the lead teachers. A positive attitude is a must. Most training for this position can be accomplished on the job (i.e., CPR, SIDS, SBS, etc.). This position requires you to work with children ages 3 mos -5 yrs. The duties span from changing diapers, cleaning, and laundry to assisting with gardening, hiking, and other daily scheduled activities.
