This position will be responsible for building and managing brand reach in strategic market segments of our business. The position will serve as a key member of a cross-functional team linked with other departments throughout our company, such as editorial, market research, advertising sales and digital technology development. The position requires self-starting initiative utilizing several media channels including the use of print, digital and direct outreach. As Audience Development Associate, you will carry out each task with accuracy and efficiency: Collaborate with publishers, editorial, marketing and sales teams to expand market reach Acquire and compile data from various sources into comprehensive and precise information Manage, analyze and improve data in our subscriber database Maintain consistent subscription goals of each publisher Prepare reporting and documentation to internal staff as requested Work with external personnel on list trades, rentals or survey needs Coordinate magazine details and close publications in accordance to the production schedule Report, file and process information in accordance to our audit needs Manage outsourced audience development efforts Help current and new subscribers with subscription preferences Audience Development Associates are responsible for managing their market data for accuracy and correctness, utilizing our custom software system and budgetary guidelines. Audience Development Associates must develop an understanding of the industries served by GIE Media, Inc. and use creative thinking and data analysis in the development of ongoing campaigns to update and verify reader information. Campaigns include traditional mail and telemarketing but increasingly leverage digital and social media communications. Collaborative abilities, creative instincts and self-motivated drive are essential.
