We are a small company where every employee plays an important role. We design open channel drains and have helped create 30 assessment drains in northeastern ND. The advantage of working for a small firm is you get to take a project from conception to construction. In addition, we do other engineering projects such as site design and layout for convenience stores, agricultural facilities and commercial buildings. Full-time M-F. Wage depending on experience. $70,000-$85,000 Primary Duties & Responsibilities Manage small to mid-size projects, client and contractor agreements and budgets. Effectively write and prepare technical engineering reports, plans and specifications for construction projects. Assist in field operations as needed; this may include construction inspection, survey and other forms of field engineering. Oversee construction activities and compliance with construction documents. Consult with clients and contractors to plan and develop strategies for their civil engineering design and support needs. Provide general oversight with contractors and sub-contractors. Gather field survey data to determine precise location and measurements of points, elevations, contours, etc. through the use of conventional surveying and GPS methods.
