Land development experience in the design of life sciences, commercial, office, higher education, mixed-use, residential, healthcare, municipal, alternative energy (solar, BESS, etc.) and/or Federal projects including: Lead Project Teams to complete project design deliverables. Lead the development of preliminary to final design calculations and drawings. Perform site due diligence and entitlement investigation and reporting. Review field information and perform field inspections of existing stormwater facilities. Perform technical writing for design reports and permitting applications. Timmons Group is currently seeking Civil Project Engineers at various levels to join our Land Development groups in our Ellicott City, MD office location. Projects range from multi-family and mixed-use developments, market rate apartment communities, large scale industrial and distribution projects, residential neighborhood design to public land development projects like schools, jails, fire stations and parks. We assist our clients with zoning entitlements, civil site plan approvals, and construction administration support. Our project engineers will typically work in a team of 2-3 design engineers and a project manager to bring our client's vision to life. The complexity and fast paced nature of our client's needs creates a dynamic environment for our team members and fosters a culture of teamwork, diverse training opportunities, and builds a sense of ownership in the successful outcome of the project.
