Responsibilities as Follows but Not Limited To:
Operate haul trucks to move shot rock the pit to the crusher and begin the crushing process.
Perform daily pre-and post- inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.
Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management.
Effective communication skills applicable to position.
Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency.
Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / Environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.
Qualifications:
Dedication to safe work practices.
Previous experience operating both rigid frame haul trucks and/or articulating haul trucks preferred.
Experience operating a Komatsu 465 is a plus
Ability to perform general laborer and clean-up duties on the ground and in the plant as needed/directed.
Must be able to work outside in all types of weather and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required.
Must be willing to work overtime and extended hours as needed.
Able to provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration document.
Pass pre-employment drug screen.

MAJOR DUTIES:
Transport and deliver freight regionally or over the road covering long distances in a safe, efficient, timely and legal manner.
Maintain a professional attitude while communicating and coordinating with customers, dispatchers, and other support staff.
Hook and unhook trailers; secure freight; install and remove tire chains as required by weather, tarp, and un-tarp freight if operating flatbeds.
Complete all necessary paperwork and maintain records required under state and federal laws and regulations.
Ensure that all operations are in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
Perform routine inspection and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects/repairs to appropriate company personnel.

Valid Commercial Driver's License
6 months previous tractor/trailer driving experience (Under 6 months will require extended training)

Meet all standards (medical, safety, etc.) required by the DOT and pass required drug/alcohol test
Acceptable background investigation results.
Must be over the age of 21 and able to legally cross state lines while driving a commercial motor vehicle.
