CLASS A CDL - LOCAL DRIVER - HOME EVERY NIGHT FT SMITH, AR AREA ***** Kemp Quarries is a leading producer of construction aggregates, primarily crushed stone, sand and gravel. These materials are most often produced from natural deposits of limestone and river sand. Our mining process typically begins with drilling and blasting the rock into smaller pieces. The material goes through various stages of crushing and screening to produce the sizes and specifications desired by our customers. About the Position CDL Drivers are responsible for transporting rock, sand, and other materials from distribution center to customer locations. Drivers are also required to perform inspections before and after a trip, and load and unload products from the trailer to customer facilities. Drivers also follow appropriate safety procedures to transport dangerous cargo and maintain logs of vehicle repair status and working hours.
