Job Description Under general supervision, responsible for the execution of activities associated with the driver intervention program by acting as a program monitor or presenter, as needed. Abstinence as a lifestyle and self-help programs such as AA, NA, CA, etc. Treatment alternatives and local resources Manages participants behavior, as needed. Accepts and reviews participant documentation as required. Monitoring (required overnight monitoring as scheduled): Conducts searches of all participant's belongings upon entry to the program. Check rooms of participants for contraband and unauthorized visitors. Assist in securing medications. Ensures participant adherence to DIP rules. Conducts frequent headcounts per shift to ensure all participants are reported/recorded, including mealtimes, before the start of any session, after any occurrence, at lights out, after breaks, at wake up, during sleep hours, etc. Reporting Completes occurrence/incident reports and/or progress notes documenting any remarkable circumstances (i.e., illnesses, facility problems, serious rule infractions, and participant terminations. Administer and record breathalyzer testing, as needed. The Department of Art & Design in the College of Arts & Sciences invites applications for part-time single term instructors to teach Studio Art, Graphic Design, and Art History courses in our undergraduate and graduate programs. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull aquatic fitness equipment (such as water weights, noodles, kickboards, or resistance devices), typically up to 25 pounds. Adequate balance, coordination, and agility to perform movements safely in a wet, slippery environment. Ability to see, hear, and communicate clearly with participants in a noisy pool environment, including providing verbal instructions and safety cues. TEEN LOUNGE INSTRUCTOR Job Description Purpose: The purpose of the Teen Lounge program is to provide participatory recreational services for Boys & Girls Club members. This is accomplished through the implementation of a weekly program plan that includes tournaments and contests, skills classes, and participatory games and group activities. The Teen Lounge is a supervised area where members avail themselves to a variety of social and recreational activities. Mentoring, both individually and in groups, occurs daily in the Teen Lounge. Part-time hours are either 3:00pm-7:00pm or 3:30pm-8:00pm, depending on which club you are assigned to during the school year. Summer hours are from 12:00pm-5:00pm at all clubs during the summer break. Starting pay range is $14.00 per hour based on experience.
