Job Summary:
A Cleaner is responsible for basic cleaning, including cleaning of all common areas, restrooms, entrances, elevators, walkways, windows, furniture, fixtures, stairs, chairs, tables, telephones, drinking fountains, trashing, dusting, polishing, and other assigned items/areas. We have multiple shifts available as well as both full-time, part-time, and seasonal opportunities.
What you'll do as an Exceptional Team Member
Responsible for all basic cleaning
Cleaning of restrooms includes restocking toilet tissue and other dispensers, emptying trash, clean and sanitize fixtures, clean mirrors, spot clean partition doors and walls, sweep and mop tile floors, and clean toilets and urinals
Move furniture, vacuum, reposition furniture, empty trash and replace liners
Check all trash containers prior to moving it
Cleaning includes dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, gum removal, dusting, picking up larger objects off the floor and spot cleaning glass
Performs additional duties as required, including attending to flooded areas, incidental spills, and related clean-up work for trash and restroom concerns
Restock carts and closets at the end of each shift

Job Responsibilities:
Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, counters, windows, and floor surfaces using rags, mops, sponges, brushes, and cleaning products. These tasks require extending arms over the head, bending, and stooping.
Strip rooms of dirty linens and te ry. Make beds, including changing the bed linens, when necessary, which may require lifting mattresses weighing approximately 40 lbs.
Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, blinds, and shelves thoroughly. Check under the bed to remove trash or other debris.
Push and pull vacuum or sweep the entire room and empty trash.
Replenish amenities and supplies in the guest room as needed.
Restock cart weighing up to 150 pounds. Visually inspect the room for cleanliness and appearance and signify completion of the room. Must report all repairs or maintenance problems to the manager.
Maintain cleanliness of public space, i.e., lobby, restrooms, offices, elevators, and stairways as assigned.

TITLE: Houseperson
DEPARTMENT: Housekeeping
REPORTS TO: Housekeeping Supervisor, Director of Housekeeping
Clean and maintain all corridors and public areas in accordance with all housekeeping procedures and standards and safety and security rules and regulations to ensure guest satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
PRE-HOTEL OPENING DUTIES
Move furniture pieces to appropriate areas.
Remove trash and debris.
Keep windows and fixtures clean.
Keep public areas clean and dust free.
POST-OPENING DUTIES
Walk all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift; remove newspapers and service trays, empty trash receptacles
Remove trash and/or linens and note any areas that need immediate cleaning.
Clean all public areas in the prescribed manner while following safety and security procedures and regulations to include but not limited to: hallways, elevators, service areas, stairwells, etc.
Remove soiled linen, terry and trash from the service areas and take to the appropriate locations in the prescribed manner.
Aid section housekeepers as needed (i.e. bed boards, roll-ways, etc.).
Stock linen and supply closets to ensure par inventories.
Report any missing/found articles, damage or merchandise problems to the Senior Housekeeper or supervisor.
Respond to guest requests and questions and report guest issues and complaints in a hospitable manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
All other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by leadership.
