THIS TECHNOLOGIST POSITION REQUIRES A BACHELOR'S DEGREE OR FOREIGN EQUIVALENT DEGREE IN MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY, CLINICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGY OR RELATED SCIENCE DEGREE, OR A BACHELOR'S DEGREE WITH THE MINIMUM NUMBER OF REQUIRED CREDIT HOURS IN THE SCIENCES AND RECEIVED APPROPRIATE CLINICAL EDUCATION IN AN ACCREDITED CLINICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM OR MUST MEET ONE OF THE GRANDPARENTING REQUIREMENTS FOR LICENSURE AS A CLINICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST FOR NEW YORK STATE. THE POSITION ALSO REQUIRES A NEW YORK STATE EDUCATION DEPARTMENT LICENSE AS A CLINICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST PLUS THREE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AS A CLINICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST WITH PROVEN COMPETENCE AS A CLINICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST.
