Kelly is seeking a Technologist to join our R&D group in Collegeville, PA. This role supports product and application development, technical service, and process research in a collaborative laboratory environment. Key Responsibilities • Support lead scientists and technologist leaders in experimental activities and studies. • Conduct plastic compounding and testing using lab equipment (Brabender machines, extruders, presses, ovens, balances, Instron tensile tester, etc.). • Safely execute laboratory work requests, operate and maintain equipment, and document results in electronic systems. • Prepare and perform standard and some non-routine lab procedures, including sample preparation and equipment setup. • Maintain ISO-9001 certification for equipment and operator training. • Participate in safety programs and evaluate procedures for safety and data quality. • Engage in team meetings focused on safety, process improvement, and problem solving. Qualifications • High School Diploma or GED required. • Plus one of the following: ◦ 2+ years of experience in polymer compounding/processing OR ◦ Associate's Degree or higher with emphasis in Chemistry or related technology field. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available). Preferred • Hands-on experience with polymer characterization instruments. • Bachelor's degree with 16 hours of chemistry and 1 year of polymer compounding/processing experience. Assistant to the Instructor of the General Physics Laboratories (Phys111 and Phys112). The student LA will help students taking the course through their laboratory work, including problem solving, equipment demonstration, troubleshooting, and preparation. The LA will attend a weekly pedagogy meeting and be present for labs. We are looking for a meticulous lab technician who will be responsible for supporting our laboratory staff with the primary goal of optimizing lab procedures and succeeding in producing reliable test results. In order to be successful as a lab technician you will need to be thorough when carrying out your duties, successfully maintain records of laboratory processes and equipment, and generate reports to submit to the relevant laboratory manager. Lab Technician Responsibilities: Collecting, receiving, labeling, and/or analyzing samples or substances using the correct testing equipment, when necessary. Recording all experimental data and test results accurately and in the specified format (written and/or electronic.) Lab Technician Requirements: Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field. Valid laboratory technician license. Proven experience working as a lab technician. Comfortable handling potentially dangerous substances (flammable liquids, biohazards, etc.) In depth knowledge of QHSE management systems, preventative measures, and laboratory best practices. Cath Lab Technicians are responsible for preparing and maintaining equipment, assisting with catheter-based procedures, and ensuring patient safety during these complex procedures. Key Responsibilities: Pre-Procedure Preparation: Prepare the cath lab environment for procedures by ensuring all necessary equipment and tools are sterile, functional, and properly set up (e.g., catheters, guidewires, contrast agents, X-ray machines).
