What you'll do:
Golf Pride, #1 golf grip brand worldwide, aims to strengthen the consumer experience at our Global Innovation Center by hiring a Performance Lab technician.
This team member will be integral to our current Retail and Performance Lab support. Your time will be split 50/50 between operating the Retail Lab and building out our newly constructed Performance Lab where we will provide VIP fittings and conduct consumer research on a daily basis.
This role is almost entirely consumer-facing and likely the very first impression of the Golf Pride Brand.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Lab Operations & Fittings (40%)
* Open and maintain the Performance Lab daily, ensuring it's consumer-ready and operating smoothly
* Conduct 1-on-1 grip fittings using tools such as TrackMan, Quintic, and pressure sensors
* Support ongoing development of the grip fitting protocol based on feedback and performance data
* Deliver an engaging, premium experience for VIP visitors and internal stakeholders
Research & Data Capture (30%)
* Assist with consumer testing protocols and performance data collection
* Program, facilitate and execute consumer research projects in support of NPD
* Maintain accurate, organized records across tools and systems
* Help build and refine a connected database fed by performance hardware (TrackMan, Quintic, etc.)
* Troubleshoot and calibrate lab tools as needed
Insight Support (20%)
* Summarize consumer feedback and test data in a usable format for internal teams
* Work with Innovation and Marketing teams to support claims development and insight generation
* Help document protocols, learnings, and recommended next steps
Lab Evolution (10%)
* Provide ongoing feedback on the tools, processes, and consumer flow
* Stay current on new technologies and testing methods relevant to golf performance
* Contribute to continuous improvement of the Lab experience
General Golf Pride Support
* Occasional event support with set up of displays, testing equipment, etc. for community events (evenings or weekends possible)

Qualifications:
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
* 2+ years of experience around club fitting and golf equipment with regripping experience.
* 1+ year of experience working with Trackman software and Microsoft Office Products
* 1+ year of consumer research or product testing experience

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**
**Lab Operations & Fittings (40%)**
- Open and maintain the Performance Lab daily, ensuring it's consumer-ready and operating smoothly
- Conduct 1-on-1 grip fittings using tools such as TrackMan, Quintic, and pressure sensors
- Support ongoing development of the grip fitting protocol based on feedback and performance data
