The Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) performs clinical laboratory tests by standard operating policies and procedures. Understands method principles, performs quality control & calibrations, performs preventive maintenance, and analyzes results as to accuracy, acceptability and critical limits. As an MLS, you will: * Prepare patient specimens as required for laboratory testing and perform laboratory tests specific to department. * Monitor test results to assure test quality and validity. * Communicate test results in a timely manner. The Seasonal Laboratory Technician will be responsible for supporting the laboratory by following methodologies, performing analysis, and interpreting data from samples. Assist group leaders and analysts in ordering and inventorying consumables, chemicals, and parts for instrumentation. Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of laboratory equipment and areas. Job DescriptionDescription: A lab technician works in a laboratory setting and works in various capacities to fulfill required duties. This includes diagnostic testing on bodily fluids, organic matter, and chemicals. They use high-specialized equipment to measure and report their findings. Collects samples and safely store biomedical materials and tools.
