Perform prosection of anatomical specimens for the body donor laboratory, photographic documentation, and workshops. Attend weekly anatomy discipline planning meetings. Operate and maintain the C-arm fluoroscope for workshop and classroom activities. Attend anatomy laboratory class sessions for the Osteopathic Clinical Skills ( OCS ) course and weekly course meetings as assigned by the supervisor. Assist in the construction, delivery, photography, and grading of the OCS Donor Exam. Lead small groups of students in the dissection of anatomical specimens. Provide remediation support for medical students in the anatomical sciences as needed. Assist in research activities conducted in the anatomy laboratory. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a biomedical science discipline with anatomy laboratory experience, or a combination of education and experience that provides comparable knowledge and skills. Prior experience in anatomical dissection or instruction. Understanding of radiographic imaging is preferred. Knowledge of, or experience using, Adobe programs for image management is helpful. Experience maintaining scientific records suitable to support publications and patent applications. Strong organizational skills. Experience in laboratory management, including but not limited to writing standard operating procedures, maintaining work schedules, ordering supplies, and managing inventories, is preferred. The Honeycutt lab focuses on the neurobiological drivers of affective (emotional) dysfunction across the lifespan using behavioral, neural, and genomic techniques. The technician will work alongside Dr. Honeycutt and a team of undergraduate research students to perform tasks including (but not limited to): behavioral assays, tissue collection/processing, immunohistochemistry, and data collection/analysis. In addition to research-related activities, this position also requires attention to detail and managerial skills to coordinate a complex behavioral testing and breeding calendar. This position also offers the opportunity to attend/participate in local/regional meetings to present data, and to work with and mentor Bowdoin's talented undergraduate student researchers. * Serve as Anatomy Prosector for the Anatomy Program in the College of Osteopathic Medicine (COM).
* Serve as Surgical Workshop Coordinator for Continuing Medical Education courses scheduled through the Anatomy section of the COM Biomedical Sciences Department (primarily weekend workshops).
* Participate in the delivery of the Anatomy for Musculoskeletal Medicine Residency Workshop at the University of New England and Maine Medical Center.
* Assist with maintaining the Anatomical Donor Program, including fresh tissue procurement and Thiel embalming.
* Perform prosection of anatomical specimens for the body donor laboratory, photographic documentation, and workshops.

York Hospital is seeking a full-time Cath Lab RN, 40 hour per week, 4 - 10 hour days, 6:30 am to 5:00 pm + call. Must be within 20 minutes of facility. Must possess active RN, BLS and ACLS. Must have experience in TEE and cardioversion procedures as well as experience in Interventional Radiology, circulating and pre and post care. This job has an emphasis on Cath Lab, however we are requiring the ability to flex into the IR role as well. So experience in this area is mandatory. Minimum of 2-3 years experience is preferred, must be within 30 minutes of hospital for call. This is a 13 week assignment in picturesque York, Maine. Proof of influenza vaccination is mandated by the State of Maine.
Shift: FT Days 6:30 am - 5:00 pm + call (4-10 hour days)
