The Cath Lab Technologist assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, and other cardiovascular procedures. The technologist operates specialized imaging and monitoring equipment, ensures patient safety and comfort, and maintains a sterile environment during procedures. Key Responsibilities: Prepare the catheterization laboratory and patient for procedures by ensuring all necessary equipment, supplies, and instruments are available and functioning properly. Assist the cardiologist during diagnostic and interventional procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, pacemaker implantation, and electrophysiology studies. Operate fluoroscopy, hemodynamic monitoring, and recording equipment to capture and analyze images and data during procedures.
