Basic Qualifications
BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications

Job Summary:

Preparation and/or supervision of all sterile IV drug products or solutions
Provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage during rotation and as required by management

Responsibilities

Work Environment
This position follows a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule, from Thursday to Wednesday. The shifts are as follows: Thursday from 9 PM to 7 AM, Friday and Saturday from 9 PM to 9 AM, and Sunday to Wednesday from 9 PM to 6 AM. The workweek totals 66.5 hours with a 30-minute unpaid break during each shift. An additional 10 hours is paid and split between the two weeks, resulting in 76.5 hours documented on the timecard. Training will involve rotating through different shifts over four weeks, with the possibility of moving to overnights on the fourth week or remaining on day/evening shifts.

Purpose of this Position: Responsible for the filling and dispensing of medication orders including the proper handling, usage, and storage of drugs in the pharmacy. Maintains standards set by the department and translates policies andprocedures into the daily operation of the pharmacy. Responsible for acting as an information resource to patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication therapy and drug-related information and literature. Plans, organizes, and supervises work schedule of supportive personnel and pharmacists, as required. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Verifies, prepares, compounds and accurately dispenses medications
